Great food, a great wine list and good service.
The food was good but not great. Portions were on the smaller side. We like Via Emiliaâs better.

NEW FAVORITE ITALIAN RESTAURANT!Been on the hunt for a new favorite spot for Italian food in the area, and I think we finally found it! Avanti blew us away with the most delicious Italian food I've had in a long time, along with providing exemplary service.It was our first visit, and it will not be our last. We stopped by on a Friday night for a quick meal, before catching a movie across the street... Although we were pressed for time, we enjoyed a variety of dishes (and a cocktail); all brought to our table very quickly. To note, the speedy delivery of our food did not diminish the lovely plating/presentation of the dishes, and every item was phenomenal.We tried the Cucumber Elderflower Martini (so crisp & refreshing), the best Calamari we've ever had, the delightful Chicken Avanti (an elevated piccata), and a traditional Lasagna Bolognese you can count on.... Not a single complaint. Everything was amazing.***Chef's Kiss***I would order every item all over again (and again). However, on our next visit I'm hoping we have more time to our evening, so we can try more dishes & cocktails. And, I'm sure we will be checking out the sister location at Research Forest sometime in the near future, as well.We aim to be regulars... It was an excellent meal and a wonderful experience. Grazie!
Manager not at all accommodating to reservation seating request. Everyone seemed so confused. Waitor was excellent, food delicious although menu is getting a bet tired with no updates since opening. No nightly specials. Would love to support my neighborhood restaurant but it doesnât seem to want to accommodate repeat customers
Come.and visit this cozy and delicious restaurant. Italian at its best. For me a hidden gem. Try the buffala with prosciutto.. delicious! The atmosphere is just right. I hate those restaurants that are not cozy. Here is lighting is perfect. Not to bright not to dark. Service impeccable. Truly recommend.
Ok so this is my wife's birthday dinner. She said she would like Italian. So we found Avanti on line.We get there and they put us in the bar area in a cozy little booth. Nice atmosphere and not too loud. We ordered a glass of wine and a appetizer. Arancini was very nice. Four decent sized risotto balls fried with a cheese in it that gave it a great balance.I enjoyed the gorgonzola wedge salad. It was delightful. Nice large pieces of pancetta and chunks of gorgonzola.My wifey enjoyed the Chicken Avanti she said it was enjoyable. I tried the sauce and it was good. It was such a large portion she was only able to eat half.I ordered the branzino. WOW! The fish was cooked perfectly nice and flakey not overcooked and the balance of the creamy sunchokes with salty olives and the delicate nature of the tomatoes. Well done my friends.To finish it off we had espresso and macchiato with the cannoli and tiramisu. And all in all it was to die for. Now comes the fun part...We asked our waiter Jose for the food my wife was unable to finish. And he had thrown it away. Not sure where the miscommunication happened, however, they decided to quickly make us a whole new meal. We were amazed at the service. Slight hiccup but killed the execution. I truly enjoyed the service we received this evening. This may have been our first but it will not be our last!Good job Avanti Italian Kitchen

Unless the chef was having a bad day the food was awful and most of it left on the plate. The linguini alle vongole was bitter, the clams were large and chewy. Sorry I ordered it. My wife,s pasta was dry and tasteless. She left her plate also. If you want to be an Italian restaurants send your chef to Italy for retraining. Shame on you. As an Italian born and bred I am ashamed of what you are passing as Italian food
Good casual location. Food acceptable. Did not like Brussels sprouts.
