This is a great place for after work happy hour drinks and apps. The staff was amazing. They were very attentive and always made sure I was taken care of while there. Perfect place for hanging out with friends and family. There is a really nice patio that I plan on enjoying once the temps get cooler. I highly recommend stopping in to enjoy some good food and drinks. The Staff and amazing service will not disappoint you.
A casual atmosphere for grabbing some nice food and drinks with a decent menu selection. Service is very nice from the bartenders to servers so you can expect to be treated quite well. Although I did receive some confusing and conflicting information from three different servers regarding the happy hour and I ended up paying full price for everything, but the wings and beers I had were nice nonetheless. The other times I had come, I was helped by a young woman named Tea who was very accommodating and provided excellent recommendations (you can order the fried pickles with burger pickles for a thicker pickle chip!). The bartender named Adrian was also super friendly and a great conversation (congrats to her for her engagement as well!).I was very pleased with the various cocktails and draft selections I had. I really liked the brisket nachos, chicken fried chicken, and the various specialty loaded tots/fries. I would say the crawfish and the pretzel dessert I had were quick lacking though. The crawfish were somehow both lacking in flavour and overly salty while the pretzel bites were akin to stale bread bites. I'm hoping that was just a bad day for the kitchen as most other things I've had on the menu were good.Great place to just hang out with some drinks and a meal. Family and pet friendly (on the patio only) as well but its 21+ after 10pm.
Our family dines at Woodson’s 1488 a few times a month. We always ask for the same server, Autumn. She is so fun but also very attentive. She never gets our order wrong and always comes by the table to see if we need anything. When we have the grandkids she is so good with them, even when they are a little rowdy. Definitely recommend this restaurant and Autumn!
Well, I have tried to like this place and given it several visits, but can't find a reason to like it. If you sit at the bar, be prepared to wait. My last trip may be that, my last trip. Mid afternoon, a number of bar patrons, but not slammed. I was there 1 hour 15 minutes and only able to get two beers. Bartender was always moving but not doing anything. Almost every patron had to ask for another drink, she never asked anyone. No smile, no personality.
My first time dining here. We were greeted immediately and sat without a wait. They were pretty busy. Our server was very attentive. We ordered the large pretzel for an appetizer. Let's just say it did not disappoint. It was served with a side of beer cheese for dipping. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with a side of steamed veggies. My dad ordered a hamburger and fries. Both were delicious. Definitely go back. It was a great dining experience. Thank you!
Visit the restaurant frequently. Always excellent service and great atmosphere. Autumn is by far our favorite server. Very friendly and attentive. She’s one of the main reasons we keep coming back.
I visited Woodson’s for the first time today and I really wanted it to be great. Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The mushroom Swiss burger I ordered was flavorless. Just a little salt and pepper while cooking would have helped. And, no condiments were even offered. No mayo, mustard, or ketchup. Just two dry buns. Just awful. I also ordered tots with the burger. They were served lukewarm with no seasoning whatsoever. Unbelievable. I had to ask the server for salt and pepper which were not on the table. Finally, the meal was topped off with a generous sized cool draft beer. Cool, not cold. I won’t be going back.

We’ve been eating here since opening. Always great food and service. Had one little incident last night that was quickly taken care of, by our server and the manager. I don’t remember our servers name but she was top notch! (Blond hair on one side and dark on the other side) always looking forward to going back and hope to get the same server again :)
Woodsons is an amazing place! Always a great experience every time we go! Haley and Jordyn are both amazing very attentive and quick! 5 stars!
