Good Place for coffee.
How things have changed at Whole Paycheck. Since the Evil Empire bought it, it has become nothinig more than a wall to wall advertisement for the EE. And if you are not a acolyte of othe EE, as in a Prime member, you feel like a second class citizen in these stores. This is no better or worse than any other one, I guess. Prices are absurd, like, are we all buying the Emperor's next beach front estate? Go down the street to HEB, areal store for real people. But the millenials love this place . Go figure.
While visiting The Woodlands I went to Whole Foods to pick up some things to keep in my hotel room since I wanted to stay away from crowded places due to the pandemic. It was so awesome to see WF offering masks and gloves to those shoppers who were not wearing them they also had an officer at the front door to make sure the people followed the law.
Very nice place to come for tea and to do computer work in the morning. Prices slightly lower than Starbucks, tea is better, good wifi in the whole store, tons of parking and no long lines. And you can pick up breakfast in one of the whole foods hot food buffets and pay at the allegro counter!
One of my favorite coffee shops to visit. Selection of tasty coffee, pastries to choose from. I really liked the interior and casual feel to the place. Staff were reasonably friendly.
I know it's a grocery store. We stopped for a snack to take on a short trip and found all kinds of wonderful things other than a sandwich! They always have fresh fruit and veggies.
The shaft! These stores are lovely and, in a few cases, they offer items you won't find anywhere else. That said, the cost does not justify entry. No matter how high your cash flow, you can do better with another, less glamorous, ubiquitous grocer. The trendiness is unequal to the four MORE standard bags of groceries you could haul home if you had chosen another grocer.
Very expensive and the prices for the soup and the ready-made food at the take-it-yourself bar were not displayed anywhere that I could see. The food I got there was pricey, which is probably why they don’t want to display the prices. Didn’t taste fabulous either. Great location though.
The Whole Food Market has the quality products and a rather large selection of prepared foods - easy to eat on the go. We relied on snacks from Whole Foods in several locations during our travels.
