Great margaritas and authentic Mexican food!!

Not TexMex. Authentic Mexican cuisine so don't expect free chips and queso. Started with their shrimp cocktail with the octopus and crab, and the guacamole with chiccarones and it did not disappoint. Very fresh ingredients that paired well with the Paloma and mezcal spirits. Guacamole was chunky with pomegranate seeds and small cubes of cojita? that brightened up an already refreshing course and accompanied with lightly fried tortilla chips, not store bought. I had the mole enchiladas and my wife had the confit brisket tacos. The mole is rich and deep. Obviously a lot of care taken with the ingredients. Micro-greens topped most of the dishes. The brisket was rich and juicy accompanied with Verde and a red sauce to dip the taco into. Brisket lacked burnt ends but, too each his own. Regardless, the tacos were delicious. I'd leave 6 stars if I could based solely on the mole;)

Best and only real Mexican restaurant in the Woodlands!

We visited last week and definitely the food was excellent, great taste and the meat was delicious. I will come back with my mother in law and friends since they will visit soon. Our server was super nice ! Highly recommend

Low rating for the pricey, tiny cocktail, my child’s steak picanha was rare and charred and that’s all that we could taste-the char, and the waiter never came back to check if everything was ok. The other items were average. Was hoping to like this place but was disappointed.

The service was a little bit slower than I would like. But this place was worth the wait! Every dish was complex and delicious. You could tell that they take time to develop flavors and care that every ingredient sings. This food is a labor of love, and it shows. I can't complain about anything, as everything we ate was superb, and made by a staff that obviously cares about their craft. Well done Uli, we'll be back!

Originally visited Uli's because they participated in "Taste of the Town"That visit alone was excellent! The owner was extremely friendly, talkative, informative, and had a great personality. You can tell the food quality, his staff, and the restaurant are very important to him.Margaritas are good, aka strong. I liked it and I'm not a margarita fan.The meal was great!Everything was so wonderful I went back a couple weeks later with coworkers for lunch. Again, excellent experience from staff, service, and the entire meal.Looking forward to my next meal here!Note: this restaurant is a smaller, more intimate environment. A unique spot for a date night, or some place to enjoy that isn't loud or obnoxious.

Overpriced, slow service, not impressed with the taste or quality and I’ve been to Mexico multiple times (I’m not talking about resort food, I do know authentic Mexican food). Also $5 for oil soaked chips and salsa w chips that appeared to have been fried in oil that had been reused way too many times

We absolutely love Uli's. This was our second time eating here and they did not disappoint. The food is incredible and the service is outstanding. Shoe has waited on us twice now, and he is fantastic. The owner/chef checked in on us and was so humble and kind. We can't speak highly enough about this restaurant. We will be back!

This place is amazing! Best traditional Mexican food in the area. Staff is on point! Chef is talented and really cares about the customers. Can’t wait to go back.
