Really good HRW menu
Resturant Week was great at Tris, the menu was different and innovative. We each had something different for each of the three courses and each one was delicious and could have been regulars on the menu. Our server was Jay who was delightful, knowledgeable and attentive. Great evening all around, special thanks to Jay and to Tris.
TRIS is true to its existing reviews. Menu that is unique to the chef; and awesome! will b back
Food was better than incredible. Service was impeccable. Over dining experience was remarkable.
We love Tris but had not been in a long timeâ we were drawn back by the Houston Restaurants Weeks menu and invited friends to join us. We were all impressed by the selections and also the amount of food on each plate but what was really impressive was the care shown to us by our server, Ashlynâ she was a delight and offered top notch service. Also Sean our server in the bar was great.
Excellent service and the food was excellent. The salmon was superb.
Very delicious meal and great drinks, our waiter couldâve been a bit more attentive but experience was still very good! The bread pudding is a must have!
The food was fantasticâ¦. Calamari, salmon and the scallops were some of the best prepared. Will be coming back. Best bread pudding that we have had . Great job
We dined at Tris for our anniversary, which, coincidentally fell during Houston Restaurant Weeks! Service was thoughtful, helpful and outstanding throughout our experience! It was very difficult choosing between HRW offerings, as they all sounded fabulous! For the first course, my husband chose the crab and corn soup, I chose the goat cheese terrine. Both were amazing! Truthfully, I have not tasted such smooth, flavorful goat cheese since I lived in Paris! The difference? The portion served by Tris was easily twice the size typically offered in restaurants in France. As for entrees, I chose the pork chop, perfectly prepared, savory and juicy. My husband chose the snapper, which he raved about. No skimping on portions here, either. We both brought home reminders of this delicious course! Desserts were stellar, as well! I knew I wanted the croissant bread pudding, which even more decadent and delicious than I anticipated. Our server helped my husband choose the blueberry lemon pie, a yummy ending to a glorious dining experience! If youâve been reluctant to treat yourself to a meal at Tris due to economical considerations, have no fear: Tris gives the same perfectionist skill and attention to preparing HRW offerings as any other item on the menu. Indulge yourself! A truly spectacular dining experience awaits!
Here's a big shout out and extremely grateful THANK YOU to Chef Austin Simmons for the delicious Wagyu Akaushi steak and King Ora Salmon, desserts, and nice evening we spent at TRIS. Is there anyone who prepares this better? What a surprise on my son's 25th birthday to get dessert delivered to our table (and with candles!) by none other than Chef Austin himself!! He shows such compassion and care for others in this community. The restaurant was full of hungry patrons and how Chef Austin handles many multiple projects so well is amazing. We also appreciate our waiter (Manny) who was delightful to work with from beginning to end.
