My wife and I have been trying to come here for months. Every time we wake up too late and hit the prime post church sunday crowd. This week was different. We had a mission to get here early. We were successful and not disappointed. Wow the food was amazing. The serving sizes are large and the flavor is amazing. The coffee was really good as well. This is a great spot and one of the best in the woodlands for brunch. Looking to the future probably worth the wait even in the summer heat.
Great service!!! Fresh tomatoes and other fresh fruit and vegetables. Delicious crusty bread with salads. Last time I was there I had delicious cinnamon and sugar warm donuts.
This was our first time for my wife and I to the Toasted Yolk and the last. My expectations were high because of the ratings. The culinary experience was highly disappointing. The coffee was served very cool and not good at all and the eggs Benedict special was highly disappointing. The poached egg was completely cold and none of it was warm at all and the pancake was undone in the center. The server was quite short with us for any extra demands. I was expecting so much more, but completely disappointed. We will not be come back again.
It was my first time here with visiting the area and I just loved it. We were seated immediately without reservations, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Our foods took about twenty minutes to get ready. The atmosphere is great mostly young professionals and families. It’s located in a great area with lots of water activities for both adults and kids.I loved their big windows facing the woods. You can also sit outside if there’s availability’s I recommend reservations for that. The service was excellent and I would definitely come back.
Great food and service. This was my first time there. I had the build your own omlette and loaded hash browns. The price is very affordable!! I highly recommend! The mimosas were great and 2 bucks!!
The food was good, presentation was good as well. Only negative thing was one person in our party didn't get her food until everyone was halfway into eating their meals. Felt a lot like a brick and spoon or another broken egg brunch place.
Just a very nice place to enjoy a meal. Service was great, host seating people was very personable, server was on point and so very nice and attentive without being intrusive. Food was perfect. Very enjoyable experience.
Great brunch. Great service
Sunday morning in the Woodlands... We found this spot in the Woodlands and got there just in time. We saddled up to the Bar-Seating and in 15 minutes the Bar was full... We got a sense that Toasted Yolk must be a go-to spot because they had 5+ staff at the front desk and they looked ready for the rush! We ordered Eggs Benedict Classic and my son ordered the Yolkwich. It was great and their Hashbrown Casserole side is excellent.
We went to The Woodlands location on Friday, March 04, 2022. We walked up to what we assumed was the receptionist, she looked right at us and walked away. I guess my invisibility cloak was on. Several minutes later the manager came over and asked my wife and I if we were the party of eight. There was nobody else near us, just the two of us and this moron wanted to know if two of us were actually eight people. I told him it was just the two of us. He said that they did not have any open tables. I pointed to three of them within 10 feet of us and asked if any of these were available. He acted surprised and said "Oh, a high table is okay?" I said yes and we were seated. What an idiot. The waitress took our order and we waited, and waited, and waited. Never saw her again until after we flagged down the manager and asked him what was taking so long (It had been about half an hour since we ordered. He again was lost and said that he had no idea and would go find our waitress. Several minutes later the waitress appeared again and asked what we wanted. I told her we wanted the food we ordered half and hour ago. She said it would be at least another 10 minutes before she could get to it. I asked what she meant and she said that the cook had not yet even begun cooking it yet and that he would begin in about 10 minutes and we could have our order in about 20 minutes or so. That would have been almost an hour wait for mediocre food from a stupid waitress and incompetent manager. We got up and walked out. We'll never step into that place again.
