I will say the host was not welcoming, and acted snooty for no reason. It was a young man with black gel’d/styled hair. Might want to consider talking to him about not being condescending to guests. 2 star for him.\\n\\nRegardless, our server Sean was excellent. He got us Refills, Attempting upselling, suggesting sauce, and a positive attitude the entire time. thankfully he delivered some wonderful food from the kitchen. The combination of filet and scallops was perfect along with the fried rice, salad, and soup.\\n\\nGet past the host, and you will love this place.
Upon arriving I saw that their hours have been temporarily adjusted! Their Google business page was not updated the day I went! Very annoying! Had to come back and hour later when they opened for 3! My food was decently good. Nothing to write home about…. If I’m in the mood for something else than my usual places I may come back.
Food was very good, service was a little on the slow side of things at first but they only had 2 servers at the time so it is to be expected. Over all good atmosphere, good food and once we ordered the service was fast

I enjoyed my experience at Shogun! Service was great, and our chef, Tony, did a great job on the hibachi grill! Portions were filling and the ambiance was nice and family oriented! Give them a chance next time you’re in the area.
They have the absolute hands down best fried rice ever! Very polite beat service and amazing food. Will definitely be back.
First time there.But cook was great,he made it fun. Think should tell you they add the tip to your ticket.
Very disappointed. It seems like a joke, even supermarket sushi is of better quality. The rolls were tiny and with little fish. The tuna on top was chopped. I do not recommend it, poor quality. In the tray where a sushi roll should have come, came 2 rolls. I have eaten at this place before, the quality has changed a lot and the size has decreased terribly. A waste of money to eat in Shogun. Never again, go scam somebody else
Sushi was great, food came out fast, and the service was excellent! Very attentive and kind server! Jaquille (sorry if I spelt it wrong) on the 1488 location was great!
This restaurant doesn't even deserve 1star. I worked there. Management is absolutely horrible. The owner Nicole is a very horrible person. The back of the house (kitchen) is filthy. They don't clean. They use a dirty mom to mop floors. It stinks so bad it makes you gag. I'm surprised that the health department has not closed them down yet. They have stuff on the floor in the cooler when it is supposed to be 6 inches off the floor. The storage of the meets and seafood isn't stored correctly. I won't even eat or drink anything from there while I'm working. That place is one of the dirtiest restaurants that I have ever worked at in the 30 years that I have been in the business. I don't recommend that restaurant to anyone.
