Took my 14 year old for his birthday, as a fam we had been out for teppanyaki in UT and in WA before, BUT this was the TASTIEST EVER! Tomas was our chef tonight. He was friendly, entertaining and seasoned our food ON POINT. Already my older son (23 in Sept) & my younger son (10 in Nov) KNOW where they want to go for their b-days. I am sure every special occasion for sometime will be at Sakekawa & asking for Tomas and his teppanyaki skills!!
Was very disappointed with this place. We went on a Tuesday eve and was seated pretty quickly at hibachi table.Food was terrible! Everything was waaay over cooked. Shrimp and rice were just peppered to death. Steaks were cooked horribly. Asked for medium and they were all well done. Told the hibachi chef and he just shrugged it off. For the amount of money will never come again.
Had some issues with parts of our order being forgotten, but eventually everything arrived and it was scrumptious.The chefs are very skilled and incredibly fun.The food is of an excellent quality and very well priced.The best surprise for me was that the house Saki is actually quite good. The downside to that is I learned it tastes good because that is the only one served hot.
Dinner last night was amazing. We had a larger group and literally almost needed 2 hibachi tables but they made it work and we had a great time. Our Chef, Tomas, was great! He went above and beyond, had a little confusion with the order initially and he handled it like a champ. The atmosphere was great. The hibachi food was excellent and as usual I couldn’t eat it all (lunch for today ?) and the ramen and sushi that was order was also devoured. Overall. Our group had an amazing time and both our chef and waiter we great! Definitely recommend…
I had a sever be extremely rude and slam my stuff on the table, so I didn’t think he should get a tip. After leaving he ran out an threaten to attack me and kill me he then charged at me and I left. I have never seen anything like this happen
We had the best experience here food was great we had a reservation initially for 7 but we got there early and they were able to accommodate us. This is my new favorite place now for hibachi the restaurant is very clean, the service is great, the food was good and the portions were huge.
Our chef was so friendly and knowledgeable. My son is 3 yrs old and was very fascinated with his tricks and the food was great
Food quality is always excellent. Sushi selection, especially specialty rolls, is substantial. Should be able to find a roll or two to meet most tastes. Sashimi and sushi quality is very good. Hibachi wait service is hit or miss - likely due to new staff undergoing training. Table/booth service is excellent.
Felt like something light for dinner and chose to sit at the bar. The tender was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful describing the meals and options. Spectacular experience, food, and service. Returning tomorrow and looking forward to that! Kudos Jada
It was alright. Wife liked the fried rice.Sushi was great, service was meh...I asked for sweet tea, and without telling me they brought me raspberry tea...then the lady informed me that their sweet tea is raspberry. I hate raspberry tea..lolMight try it again in the future.
