The food menu is more eclectic than Texan or Irish but overall pretty good still. Waiters are clearly short-staffed with only 2 when the place was nearly full but they were moving fast and efficiently. All in all the service was very good. It's a very good option for a late night dinner but most people go there for drinks and live music. It makes for a very good ambiance if that is your thing although there is a quieter patio for outdoor dining as well.
We decided to venture to Mahoney’s and we were not disappointed. I had been eyeing this restaurant upon recommendation from a very close friend and I must say I don’t know what took me so long to go. We ordered duck wings, southwest burger, fish and chips, along with cider and the berry sangria. Everything was made fresh and delivered fresh.I had to edit to add, GET THE DUCK WINGS!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! They need to bottle that sauce and sell it to me. HahaOur waitress Cassandra went over and beyond her duties in serving us. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and I tell you, not one time did she say “let me go ask someone”. Cassandra knew this menu and knew it exactly what to recommend to satisfy our tastebuds. She also treated us like we were the only table she had. Not one time were we left waiting for anything. Kudos to Cassandra, we need more servers like her.100% recommend this restaurant. Is the bests server that we ever had plus it was her birthday that day she needs a raise❤️I hope she had a good day on her birthday she is very nice and she deserves a raise!-the couple that you served with their friends(his girlfriend-I hope you have beautiful future ahead of you and be responsible but remember to always be safe and have fun but to enjoy yourself and don’t feel bad about it! you really need a raise don’t settle for less you deserve what you want! This is a pretty cool place. The atmosphere was very friendly, the bartenders were quick and attentive. The 80’s cover band did a great job, no serious song butchering, which is always a plus!
Excellent fish and chips. The regular and sweet potato fries are great. Our server was fantastic. I ordered carry-out (online) the next 2 days and it was just as I ordered. Great all around experience. Also met the manager and she is terrific.
Food was good but our waitress was horrible! Tall thin girl with red tint to hair added stuff to our ticket we didn’t ask for, wouldn’t answer questions then ghosted us when we asked to speak to manager. We left cash on table for the tab then she chased us out the door for her tip. Started arguing with us right in front of other customers. Very unprofessional!
First time here. My friend says it's way busier than usual, but even for being busy the wait staff was amazing. They have a great brunch menu and the food was very good. I'd definitely make the 30min drive up here again.
Very affordable and tasty brunch located near the waterway in the woodlands! Portions are huge so recommend ordering accordingly. Bottomless mimosas were a huge plus (and very affordable). Might’ve also been the best Belgium waffle I’ve had. Service was great too. Good job Stephen!
Gem of a restaurant and bar in the woodlands. Service is great and food comes out fast with pretty big portions. For those who have not, try the waffles....best waffles EVER
Came here for brunch with a group of friends. The kitchen was backed up so the food came out slowly but it was well worth the wait. The drink service was quick and also very delicous. There was live music playing and the gentleman singing was amazing. Great atmosphere and a good time. Look forward to visiting again.
