We visited Herreras a few weeks back and dined in the restaurant. We had Chicken Enchiladas that had nice stringy chunks of breast chicken. Meal was really good.So on 6/29/22 we decided to order the same meal for takeout. It was absolutely terrible. The pieces of chicken in the Enchilada were little squares of dark colored chicken. When I called in the order the order taker specifically asked if we wanted breast chicken. I said yes because it was so good when we dined in. What we got in the order was awful and didn't look like breast chicken. I called the restaurant to file a complaint and request a refund. They bluntly said no refund and you got what you ordered. No concern expressed by the restaurant staff person!DO NOT EAT THERE! We will never go back there to eat.
This is definitely open and has some of the best food in town. If you see that it says closed call them. There is somebody going around marking them as closed when they're not.If you enjoy good Mexican cuisine try here. Friendly wonderful clean and absolutely delicious.
Loved their version of the shrimp cocktail.... Really different but very tasty...
Went for lunch. Reasonable prices. Food was good and fresh. Liked the salsa and chips. Always better served heated.
Decent food but the price was a bit high. Beans aren't good, the rice is.....rice...but the stuffed avocado was okay. Deceptively, they say two stuffed avocados on the menu but it is actually one avocado split in half. The margarita was equivalent to something you could make at home for much cheaper. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a "great experience" but this place is fine for just grabbing a quick meal. I will go back and give another menu item a try because I don't think it is fair to judge a restaurant off of one visit.
Owner was super friendly and hard working, but the meat was cheap and you could tell. Coke was good though. I hope the owner buys better meat and shortens the menu, like Gordon Ramsey said, it’s better to be good at a couple of dishes than to be average at a lot.
Service was very good. We were seated quickly. The red salsa was very good. The atmosphere was nice and parking was good. The Vallarta Dinner was very good
Love this place. It’s an extension of your home with everyone treating you like family (only better ??). We love their fish tacos, which always pair nicely with their margaritas. Brandon is always conjuring up new cocktail working on them until he achieves perfection. Tried their new Mezcal Margarita last night…nice and smoky ?. Shout out to the best service team around!
Some of the best service we have had in years. Group of 30+ on a Sat night and they worked to get us all as close as possible and then their service was fast and friendly! The food is amazing. Best guacamole and salsa ever!
This has become my wife and I's "Go-To" Mexican food restaurant.Recommend the following Appetizer "Queso Asado" - it is my ms gamboolgals favorite.Staff is very courteous.Do recommend.
