We love this DQ, they play Christian music...All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food always comes out hot and fresh. The ice cream is always delicious...
The food was great. The service wasn't that great. Why? The guy at the register didn't really seem to know what was going on and made it hard to order. The rest of the back staff seemed like chaos. I'd go back there for sure, and may change my rating then. Might have been a bad day.
I have enjoyed Dairy Queens since I was a kid growing up in La Porte on Galveston Bay in the 50's. We continue to enjoy their food and good service to this day at various locations. This location kept up Dairy Queen's high standards for great food and wonderful service.
We're not coming back to this location. Times are 10a-10p M-Sun, inside was closed before 930 and then went through drive thru, ice cream machine was shut down. We know about cleaning equipment, get that. There are No posted hours that the inside closes at 9. Website says 10p, Google says 10p and app says 10p. If there's different inside time and drive thru times it needs to be posted.
Employee didn't know they serve grilled chicken. To get music they play is really lame. Employees are very nice. Just ok.
I really wish I could give this place zero stars because they truly deserve a zero star rating. This was the worst fast food restaurant experience I have had and it was only for two blizzards. My wife and I came here around 7:30 tonight and ordered a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and a thin mint blizzard. We waited 30 minutes for two mini blizzards to be made. I wasn't the only one waiting... this "A team" of employees working tonight had a good amount of people waiting for very simple orders. The gentlemen next to me was waiting 15+ minutes for two small blizzards. The gentlemen next to me and myself sat there a watched this very attentive group of employees have more fun playing around with each other rather than working and getting peoples orders ready. I had the same employee who by the way didn't have a name on his name tag ask me over and over again what I was waiting on and would look at my receipt like if he didn't know what language it was written in. Finally an employee who had the most common sense out of this well oiled machine of a team made my order after 30 minutes of being at this well managed establishment. I would avoid this Dairy Queen at all cost unless you like waiting longer than usual. I highly doubt that the restaurant manager will even read this review, but if you are I just want you to know you literally have some of the worst employees who don't start working until people start complaining. You should probably be more involved in the restaurant and maybe hire people that actually want to work instead of a bunch of high schoolers who could care less about working on a Saturday night.
We just bought over $50 of food, got home and the fish basket we purchased had 3 strips of burnt tasting, over cooked, tough fish. The Hungry Buster has brown lettuce and under ripe tomatoes. Worst experience ever with a Dairy Queen! I tried to call so not to post a negative review, however they will not answer the phone. Most of our food went in the trash, it was not edible.
My daughter and I usually make it a habit to stop by after school and get a treat. This has sucked. The padt 2 days we have gone in the blizzards are real liquidity and the ice cream cone wobbles. They always have some excuse as to why. If something is wrong with the machine get it fixed. When the manager guy with the long hair he was there at 4:30pm yesterday and the lady with the glass that has her pants constantly falling off are there the ice cream sucks. She is always complaining about something. Dairy Queen you have let us down. We might try one more time but if not we can find another place.
My wife and I ordered a 4 pc cheese steak basket each and were highly disappointed when we received our baskets. They both looked like they were way over cooked then we tasted them, I myself couldn't eat more than a bite and my wife didn't want to ask for something else so tried to eat them but only ate 2 of the 4. I threw mine away and ordered a salad which was ok. Having spent about $28 we were totally disappointed in our food.
For working with a skeleton crew, they had my food ready, bagged safely and organized the 5 blizzards I ordered! Food was hot and delicious!
