My boyfriend and I came here to have a nice dinner. We sat ourselves down, the host took our drink orders down and delivered our drinks right away. However, after we received our drinks, we sat at our table for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged by the servers at all. The restaurant was not busy at all.There were about 10 servers there, and not one of them came to our table to even take our appetizers down. All the servers that I saw were just standing around talking to each other, doing nothing. We ended up just leaving the restaurant without being served at all.
Worst service I've ever had!!We sat down at a table and waited for a server, watched the server leaning up against the bar talking to other patrons. He never looked our way. After about 10 minutes pf watching this,I decided to go to the bar and get my own drinks. I asked if they had servers and the bartender said yes. Drinks are now empty and still not one server came to the table. After watching 3 servers and a manager standing around and talking, I went back to the bar for Drinks again. Bartender asked if I had a open tab, I said no I was expecting a server. She told the server to check on us. When he finally came he didn't bring menu's, but did ask if he could get us anything. I just got my own beers, your a little late. Once again glasses are empty no service once again. We had planned to eat here, but decided not to considering the lousy service. I noticed the table next to us was finally getting their food that was ordered before we got there, 40 plus minute wait time for food ridiculous! Especially when the place was only at 20% capacity, I'd hate to see what it's like at even 50%.I would never go back!!
They steal 2% of credit card tips from employees to pay their banking fees because they lost money during Covid lock down. I worked here. I had a great interview and the atmosphere is great. I love the layout and patio. I was hired immediately and worked day and night shifts. I was fired after I confronted the owners and general manger for taking 2% of our credit card tips. This is 2% from every single tip given per credit card from each and every employee. They make you “sign a form stating you received your tips” BEFORE you get them. Then when I wouldn’t sign the form prior to receiving my tips they became upset and asked me why. I stated I noticed they were taking 2% and I wanted to know why. Finally a lower manager explained they just don’t tell you why you are signing but it’s to allow them to steal 2% to pay for THEIR banking fees. When I brought this up to higher management at the end of my shift they told me “good luck getting that to change” and fired me upon arriving for my next shift.
Very unfair establishment. Went with a few friends that were minority. They told us we had to order at the bar even though they were bringing the white ppl the food and drinks they order to them. We asked bout the pool table and didn't hear from the waitresses but the second some white guys come in, they served them quickly and with professionalism.. unfair establishment and wish it would change. They need to speak to their employees about how to treat other people who are not white with the same respect. Horrible experience and I fought for this country. First time ever putting a review online but this place deserves less than a one star
Great location, great service, love the hidden restrooms behind the fake bookcase. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were not very good. The fish was too greasy and mostly batter. The shrimp appetizer was good.Please follow me for more honest and independent reviews.
The food was good and the staff was attentive and kind. A little loud for our taste but it wasn't unreasonable. We really enjoyed the burger and the potatoe nachos.
Went in on Saturday night with a co-worker to grab a drink and some food before heading home. Our server Michael took excellent care of us. So much so I spoke to the manager Brandon to compliment him what great service we were given. Always a good time when at this location.
Overall fun vibe and energy, lots of interesting drinks! However we never had a waiter greet us or serve us. We had to order food and drinks at the bar and bring them back to our table. The food was slightly disappointing but the live music made up for it.
Came in on Sunday at 11:15 and no one greeted us. We sat ourselves and still one greeted us. Bar tender saw us, still no help. This place is a joke. We went across the street to Gooses Acres and had great food and service.
I love coming here. The fish and chips is some of the best I ever had! Special shout out to Dee who is always friendly. She is super knowledgeable about drink choices as well. I will be a regular here.
