We chose this restaurant to celebrate our son's birthday. When we arrived at this establishment at 8:30 p.m., we asked if they were still serving because they closed at 9:00 p.m. They responded with a "yes" and we were immediately seated. There were a few customers still dining. The first thing we were told by our waitress was they were out of bread. We ordered an appetizer. The fries were overly cooked. We received the main course dishes. The mashed potatoes were room temperature, the chopped beef steak was not hot, the ribs had an inconsistent seasoning flavor, and they ran out of tea. My hamburger was not hot. For a practically empty restaurant, there was a lack of attentiveness to our table, such as drink refills, and not asking if we wanted any dessert. Our waitress was a little curt and made us feel unwelcome.
I participated an event which was hold at Saltgrass Steak House. Everyone else's appetizers were finished, my appetizer had not been served yet. I asked the waiter, he said he forgot mine. And I had been without cutlery. When the waiter served me the main course, I told the waiter: " I do not have cutlery". And after waiting for a long time, there was still no cutlery. Finally, my husband went out of the event room and took cutlery for me. At that time, the event was about end. In order not to waste, I had to take the food home.
We had a great experience at Saltgrass since it was our son graduation party for 20 people, We are very great full for the services that Tyler provide for our party and the food was delicious.
So what can I say about salt grass. It’s the McDonald’s of steak houses. When you order yourExcited, but then your food shows up and…….: see picture below. Those are supposed to be Brussels sprouts. The chicken fried steaks crust is soggy. Under cooked soggy. And to top it off I ordered a beer and had to tell them never mind we are through with our food we are leaving. This whole outing is just a total disappointment.
Steaks were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The sides were also well made and served hot.
I love absolutely everything about this location, and the chain overall. May I begin, first off, if you all order the same drink, they bring a whole pitcher of it. For example, I had two other people with me and we all decided to order sweet tea. They brought a pitcher, which I was not expecting, so thank you for that! Not only providing they make the best bread. We aren’t talking regular restaurant hard crunchy bread, it is regular on the outside but on the inside bready goodness! Now, the main course, the burgers. The burgers here are absolutely amazing and will astonish you. You will also love the fries with the burger. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality steakhouse.
I and 2 friends were in town for a basketball tournament and stopped in for dinner. Everything about the afternoon was great. Immediate seating and Aaron, our server was at the table immediately asking about beverage choices. We all had the same entree, 12 ounce Ribeye with different sides. My salad was very fresh and tasty the baked potato was huge. The steak was fixed perfectly to my liking, medium rare. It was tender and the seasoning was very tasty. Aaron was very attentive and treated us great. If we are ever back in Frisco we will absolutely be there again. I would encourage anyone that reads this to try it yourself.
The staff was nice but the service was soooo slow…the food was adequate, the atmosphere was a cross between an Outback Steakhouse and Chili’s. I would go back but with lower expectations.
This place seemed really good but it was not. The service started out great and they were pretty fast with bringing the stuff out. But the food wasn’t that good. I got a medium steak and it was more rare than anything. And it would be okay but it was pretty empty so there focus should’ve really been on the food. The mashed potatoes were good and the shrimp. But I don’t think it’s something I could recommend.
