Tried for the first time today, best BBQ I've had in a long time. Had chicken, ribs, baked beans. and potato salad. Well worth the drive from Little Elm. Called the order in and was ready when I got there Will definitely be regulars.
I called with 30 minutes before they closed. Robert still had a positive attitude, telling me to come in. I ordered a little of everything that was not out. Brisket, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, baked beans, collard greens, I had to get a large brisket mac and cheese, and cornbread. BBQ sauce was plenty.Nothing, and I mean nothing, was bad or average, and remember this is at the end of the night! I need to get a turkey leg (which sell out fast), chicken, and regular turkey next time. Fridays looks good with fish.The service was very friendly, and the order was accurate, which go a long way. We ate there for the first time today and will definitely be regulars. Three of us had brisket, pulled pork and sausage, with sides of potato salad, brisket mac n cheese, fries and Fried okra....everything was great. Topped it off with a large serving of apple cobbler and ice cream. The fact that the owners were friendly and service was quick topped off a wonderful dinner.
I referred here by someone on Facebook. I arrived this morning at 10am so I could be first in line when they opened at 11am. the Staff was friendly and courteous. I met the owner and she was very cordial and friendly. I ordered Sausage, Brisket and 2 sides. let me tell you I was not disappointed. The drive from Richardson to Frisco was worth it. Priscilla
Outstanding BBQ and staff, large portions, good sides and clean restaurant. The only somewhat complaint would be the ordering process and time it took to deliver food to the table but the BBQ seasoning, smoke flavor, bark and sauce made up for that process. ?????????
I don’t think as far as food place should be 4.6 but the atmosphere possibly. Went in for lunch with my HUSBAND and was asked by a tall, light complexion, elder lady with glasses if he was my dad? The experience would’ve at least gotten 3 stars but the way other people be in your business I give it a 1. What difference would it had made for either scenarios? Smh. I feel that question was very inappropriate and made both myself and husband so uncomfortable. Maybe their should be up training with customer service and engagement. Just wow! Needless to say…..we won’t be back!
It is so affordable and It's so freaking good! I would pay $1000 per plate because it is so good! Seriously! It's finger licking good!
My friend told me about this place. This building has changed hands a few times but this is new and some of the best bbq I've had. I had Franklin's a few weeks prior and this was better to me. The ribs are perfect and stand out even against the other fantastic meats. The pulled pork was great, the brisket was moist and delicious. The bbq beans were different from anywhere else. Try them, they're hard to describe but really good. A+ place.
Tried Flatrock for the first time yesterday. Got a family pack with brisket, turkey, and sausage. Had the beans and potato salad as sides. Everything was great! Brisket was moist and turkey was juicy. Sausage was good too! One slight suggestion, let people know the pickles, onions, and jalapeños are under the meat. We didn’t find them until we had leftovers for dinner tonight. :)
Very good BBQ and the owner and employees are very friendly.
