horrible food!! horrible service!! DONT EAT HERE ADVOID AT ALL COST
Little disappointed. $10 Breakfast not very good service. Cold this am and many place are closed. When I got there there was 1/2 dozen patrons. Migas and coffee was my choice today. Food came pretty quickly and really hot. I got my coffee topped up. That was the last anyone touched my table. I sat for awhile waiting for some coffee. All the waitstaff were standing on booths wipping the blinds with rags. One came down and brought water to a table of 2 in the corner. I pushed my cup out in the middle of the table and nothing she walked by got on the booth and started wipping the blinds again. I paid and left I never tip the cleaners.
Everything here is good, and the service is excellent. I eat breakfast here every morning when I'm in Hondo and I've never been disappointed.
This restaurant is in an older building. We sat down at any table and waited for a good 10 minutes before we ere even noticed. A waiter finally came over and got our drink order. We got our drink and had to wait a few more minutes before a waitress came. She apologized and took our order. We ordered the trio meat fajita meal for two. It was a huge plate. It came with guacamole, rice, salad and beans which was like a soup, but it was very good. The meats were hot, well spiced and good. The waitress came over a few times to check on us. The portion size was so big, we asked for a to go box. The prices were average for similar kind of meal but we had a lot of meat. Even though they really need to redo the building, the food was good. We will go back and try it again.
Driving through Hondo looking for some late lunch, we stopped here. And we haven't regretted since. The place looks old, but it's clean. We had the fajita plate, and it was perfect. Big portion, big flavour, just the right amount of heat. Great Pico de Gallo, awesome refried beans and that Salsa.... This is Mexican as it should be.
Food is great the service is great I love eating there ! Also their drive up menu is great too !!! Good price for a lot of food too .
We go to this restaurant a lot. The have so much to choose from and the service is so fast! Try their Mexican drinks with or without alcohol, yummie!
We are here on Saturday afternoon. This place was packed. Service was fast, food was good. Only disappointment was the guacamole, very bland.
The food is good, the people are very friendly, the service is fast and the price is great. What else can we say! Just go there!
