Okay, so the place doesn't look like it has the budget of some other chicken places for looking fancy. But the chicken! And the biscuits! Still hot and crispy after a 30 mile drive home. The gentlemen working there this evening were all very nice and very precise when preparing our order. I do believe one gentleman was in training. I was hungry. I ordered too big of a meal for myself, but I ate it. All of it. No regrets.
The coupons are misleading but the staff are friendly. And the food, though crazy expensive, is great!Please note: You also cannot order ahead online nor via the church's app as this location is not in the list of store options to choose. Even if you type the entire address or store number the LaMarque, TX location is simply not included.
Ok, but we had a horrible experience with a manager who had a fit because we wanted to add a drink to our order in the drive thru, go figure.... We were the only ones in the drive thru!
Went to order waited 5+ minutes at the speaker no one else in line. Thought maybe the speaker was broken. Drove to the window a guy came to the window and told me I had to order at the speaker. I told him I had been waiting and was never even acknowledged. He said rudely I had to drive around and order at the speaker that's the only way he could take my order. No one was even at the restaurant so why couldn't he just take my order at the window like they have done before when the speaker is broken. I will never go to this Church's again.
Just went through the drive thru order a 3 piece and fries get home got 6 bis. Now they don't answer the phone have to go back not cool
Service was great.Order family meal chicken over cooked and they didn't give me my 6 biscuits. THAT'S THE BEST BISCUIT AROUND WHEN THEY GIVE TO YOU.
Church's Chicken has highly improved on their service. Great Job!
Got an 8 piece mixed chicken family pack, quite expensive because it was mixed. But there were only two pieces of white meat (both wings) and rest was dark meat- two thighs and 4 drumsticks. Not worth it at all. On top of that, the white meat was very dry/overcooked. :-(
My 2nd visit here 10/10 on everything. Hot food. Fresh. Quick service. Nice manner. The manager/assistant manager lady is super quick and real nice
