I called store back to complain, they said that they never had Turkey. Then why is it listed? Ham? Those were dotted bacon bits. Very dissapointed.for $9.75 I am not happy. I had not been to Wayne's recently so I decided to go. I ordered a hamburger with mustard, no mayo, with all vegetables, an order of fries and two drinks. The food was served within a reasonable time; however, the burger was smaller than on earlier visits, it was dressed with mayo and did not have tomato. I ate the food as served with no complaints, but we will not return.
Wayne's has persisted for decades, unchanged. It is the same restaurant I remember my grandfather taking me to as a child and I swear only Wayne's and Waffle House will remain in the distant year that our sun swallows the earth, each eternally unchanged.Wayne's survives like this, as Texarkana residents abandon this area, because it is fantastic. It has always BEEN fantastic, and the fact that I drove 3 hours down almost entirely for this restaurant after nearly 15 years away from it- and that it was exactly the same as I remembered?That should tell you everything you need to know.Order the catfish.Know that it is simple, perfect, and needs no change because it is both of those. Please frequent this wonderful restaurant.
Excellent catfish & cheese burger (think of a BIG Sonic Burger) Recommend the Cajun Fries. Good tartar sauce & ranch. Reasonable prices. Great service, & nice staff. Walk in and order to the left & grab a seat, & they bring the food out to you.
A very good burger. The ice cream was down. Had a great pecan pie. Need to one day have catfish.

Well it was catfish but it's not the catfish that we think of. I think it's Chinese catfish. My husband called it whitefish. But it was absolutely delicious and the owners were so friendly. We live in Fayetteville Arkansas and we will definitely be visiting Wayne's again. Ps. The jalapeno strips were so delicious.
