Really good BBQ joint. The ribs were great! The pulled pork was good. The sausage was ok but was my least favorite meat. The brisket was also pretty good as I sampled a piece of it. The au gratin potatoes were to die for! The staff was very friendly and did a great job.
This place really does live up to their great reviews. I’ve lived in Texas all my life, and I have never tasted bbq this good, until now. The food was delicious, the waitress very attentive & sweet, and the peach cobbler was so good! Definitely recommend eating here.
The atmosphere was a little loud, but tolerable. My wife got the Brisket nachos, and they were amazing, I got the sliced brisket which had a lot of fat which I didn't eat. Beyond the food the service was good.
We stopped for the night in Texarkana after a day of driving from central Texas. We phoned in an order and picked it up, so we had no experience with the ambience or the staff or the table service. What we did experience was the tastiest chicken-fried chicken we have ever eaten. The plate-sized piece of boneless meat was juicy and tender, with a tasty and slightly spicy coating. Order the gravy on the side so you can enjoy the meat unadulterated. You can always add gravy. The onion rings seemed to have the same coating, with the same delicious results. The chopped brisket in the brisket sandwich was also perfectly cooked and tasty, but the chicken was the star of the meal.
We were so disappointed in the atmosphere, food and service. Ordered guacamole and chips to discover they were out. No big deal. Ordered chips and salsa and the salsa was tomato sauce. The service was lacking and never visited the table more than three times. We had to ask for refills. The brisket tacos were so fatty they weren’t edible . The rice was good but the beans were cold. The thing was we were one of two tables in the restaurant. If you come to drink, the bar is hopping - maybe this is more of a bar and not a good restaurant like they think by how much they charge ! $$$$ We were so disappointed. Do your self a favor and drive on over to The road house .
Very good turkey , a huge amount of food. Excellent taste. Good service , all food was seasoned well.
I went there for a training class. We were in the conference room. I don't know the girl's name that took care of us but she was awesome. She greeted us as we arrived. She made sure that we had everything we needed. The food was delicious as well.
The food was good, but everything was super spicy. Not bad mind you, but very spicy. It hid the actual flavors of the meal instead of enhancing them. The salad was good, everything was fresh, but I had to swap out the balsamic vinaigrette for ranch, it was badly separated and just didn't taste very good. The ranch was great! Like everything else it was overly spicy, but the salad greens took some of the bite out of it. Now maybe I'm just sick and tired of being told what to do by everyone after the covid insanity, but I don't like having my tip added in with the bill. I do understand the reasoning behind it, but I would rather decide what the tip is based on service. If they deserve 20%, I don't have an issue with that. If they deserve more, I certainly don't have a problem with that either! But if they deserve less, they should get less. I don’t like it added in for that reason. It should be MY DECISION, not the restaurant's. The overly spicy food plus this is why I gave 3 stars. Our server was good (although she let me run out of water before I was through eating, and never offered to refill it). I'm not saying I would never eat here again, but it's not somewhere I would make a point to go back to any time soon.
Food was damned good and quick. Our waitress Ms.Shellby was wonderful and very attentive to us. Can't wait to go back.
Huge shout out to Madison and Riley for helping make my DIL’s birthday party a success. The food and the service were great!
