Cool spot in Texarkana! Friendly staff, decent beer selection, excellent food and kid friendly. Duck fries were outstanding, buttered chicken and fish n chips are a must try. Greta cocktails too, which usually you don't get at a gastro pub.
Their menu options are limited but delicious. You don't have to struggle with deciding what you want, but still have a variety of options. Went with the basic burger, but it was big! Friend had chicken plate and it was worth it. If you go, definitely try the duck fat fries. Comes with the best ketchup and mayo your taste buds will locally ever try.

Delicious! My husband always finds delicious places as we travel, and this place was fabulous. My salad was incredibly flavorful with the tastiest pecans. My family loved the duck fat French fries and the fried fish. We will return when we travel through again!
I've been here several times and I've only been disappointed with my food once and it wasn't even their fault. I just personally didn't like that particular dish lol. Chill minimalist vibe, friendly staff, spacious, tons of natural light, and the limited menu keeps you from getting overwhelmed with too many food options. They have their classic dishes, and switch out others with great new experimental dishes every now and then. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and the portions are pretty large; I usually need a to-go box. Excellent date night spot.
Hubs and I popped in on a Tues afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. The duck fat fries were wonderful, and the Brussel sprout salad was most excellent! Great spot for a family meal or a business meeting over beers. We will definitely be back.
The beer and food were both excellent, and we greatly enjoyed talking with the owner, who was friendly and knowledgeable about beer. If we ever pass through Texarkana again we will certainly make Pecan Pointe our food destination!

Second, the menu items are nothing short of outstanding. My wife's raspberry chipotle burger was exceptional and my monte cristo sandwich was truly the best I have ever had anywhere, anytime. Third, the decor is really interesting; likely an original retail or warehouse space; but very comfortable. Finally, the staff is very helpful, accommodating, and attentive. Who would have guessed such a superb gastropub in downtown Texarkana, but here it is. We've already begun planning our next visit.
