The waitress got our order wrong but we didn't complain. She got multiple things wrong on our order. It was definitely better the last time I was there. Probably won't be back for a long while.

Good pizza and fun place to hang out with friends! The crust tasted a little plain, but the cheese made up for its shortcomings. The kids spaghetti was a little over cooked, but the meatball and sauce were savory.

We went today and they were AWESOME! We had a party of 11, 4 of which were very young children. The hostess was extremely quick in accommodating us for seating and our server was the BEST! Food was perfect and the price was spot on!

Amazing calzones!! Can't wait to try the pizza next time.

The worst pizza I’ve ever had. We ordered a deep dish and a regular crust. Both crusts were very dry and flavorless, like a saltine cracker that had been previously frozen. I have had great pizza and this was truly disappointing. The toppings were scant, the cheese tasted artificial and had zero pull to it. It was like eating a hard piece of cheese even when hot. The tomato sauce was bitter and lacked seasoning. Don’t waste your money on this place. You are better off eating a $7 pizza from dominoes.

First off this time our waitress was really nice. We ordered italian beef...terrible, the meat wasn't shredded, it looked like the prepackaged deli meat you get at the grocery, it was unseasoned and very dry. They give you a little cup of au jus to pour over it but it was unseasoned too and not enough of it to use on the beef. We also ordered the chicago hot dog...it was worse than the italian beef, the bun was so stale that the ends broke off, the hot dog was barely warm and it tasted ok but neither of us finished what we got. We could see the 'cooks' in the back and they all looked like they cared little for their jobs or the product they put out, the whole restaurant had this depressing air about it. This was the third time we tried this Gusano's. The first time was over 6 months ago and we ordered a chicago style deep dish pizza for take out and asked for just pepperoni and cheese, when we got it home the pizza had mushrooms, pepperoni and onions on it, we like those so didn't complain but they said give it 45 minutes and we went to pick it up after 45 minutes got there and had to wait an additional 25 minutes before it was done. The second time we ordered a couple of pizzas for the family and they were good so we thought we'd try this a third time and that was with these sandwiches, we agreed to have them screw up twice and at the prices they charge was just ridiculous. We won't be back. And no we didn't complain at the restaurant or send the food back because we know what the kitchen staff does to food that customers complain about. All in all the experiences we've had with the staff and food is not worth it.

Great ambience. Plenty of places to dine, and a diverse crowd of patrons. Well kept, and a fantastic smell from the kitchen permeating the spacious room. The soda I ordered was balanced, and carried no mineral undertones. They are using clean, filtered water here, which is excellent to seeOrdered a 9" of the Deluxe, Chicago-style. Excellent flavor in the toppings. Meats were all savory, though quite salty.Sauce was also over-salted. Great way to sell more beers, but hurt the profile of the pizza. The Crust... Hard as rock. Could not cut through it with the provided butter knife. Had to jackhammer the fork along the seam created by the futile efforts of the knife to break through.Wait staff were incredibly prompt- drink stayed filled -and they had great temperament with the customers, regularly checking in. Excellent job!My server inquired about my pizza. After describing the hard crust, she did not offer to have it re-made, nor offered any apology or explanation.Left my notes on the check before leaving.Definitely worth a second visit. But will be asking for them to monitor that crust next time. And hope they check the salinity. Otherwise, worth a visit. If ordering Chicago style, expect a longer wait time on your meal- as good things take time.

Took her 30 minutes to get our drink order after visiting our table multiple times. Thank God I ordered two drinks because I never got a refill on either after sitting at the table for over an hour and a half. My order wasn't put in until everyone was almost done but they kept coming out saying it was on its way it took over 45 minutes to make one chicken wrap. Aggravated I decided to get it to go. Paid the almost $30 ticket and left. After thinking it over I called and asked to speak to the manager. A guy got on and I proceeded to explain what happened and felt completely ignored. To top it off while I was talking he hung up on me. After an hour of sitting and watching the kitchen (50%of time the kitchen stood still). The menu said worth the wait but it definitely wasn't. The couple across from me said their Pizza even though had several toppings was smothered in tomato sauce that overpowered the whole thing. My chicken wrap was cold and bland. The restaurant was loud and focused more towards the bar. Decided after this best to not go back.

Food was great as usual! Was disappointed in the shorts one waitress or hostess was wearing... Never seen that before.. don't really think she was following the dress code... If it was adults only establishment they might've been ok.

This is probably the best pizza place in Texarkana. I don't think there is a pizza place quite like it in Texarkana, the atmosphere is like a bar and grill. Until eating here I had never had Chicago style pizza. They have some of the best pizza and appetizers in Texarkana.
