Not bad overall... Service was kind of sub par, but was able to overlook this as there was only one server during the time we dined. The Shrimp Ranchero was tasty. Literally one of the best sauces I've ever tasted. I was tempted to ask for a recipe.
Well 1st time here since they reopened under new name. Bummer!! Horrible...or mediocre at best. Enchiladas were cold, everything was bland with no flavor and small portions, Margaritas were bad too!! Not that we don't need another Mexican restaurant here, but with all the competition you think they would be better? And NO sopapillas? Really I can make those with a flour tortilla!!!

Pretty bad experience. I don’t have high standards at all and rarely leave reviews for restaurants, but our experience the other day on May 5th was awful. Every order came back wrong at our table, except one. Fajitas were not good, they sliced a giant onion and no peppers or anything else, just a handful of steak pieces. Tortillas were cold, beans did not look good, and the extra items we asked for, we never received but they were on the ticket afterwards. Friend never got a drink, even after asking repeatedly and being told it was on the way. Puffy tacos were so stale, they were for sure made last week. My wife didn’t even eat them, and she usually eats anything. Our table alone was over $100 total and we were quite upset about the service and quality of food. We paid, but will likely not return. Real shame, we’ve had good experiences in the past.

The absolute best in town across the board. Customer service exceeded my expectations, restaurant was extremely clean, and the food flavors were magnificent. I ordered 5 dinner carne asada tacos, my daughter ordered a huge quesadilla with several different cheeses, and the toddler wanted mac and cheese with French fries. It was so good I couldn't save 2 of the 5 to take for lunch the next day. I opted out of beans for double rice and they gave a great portion of everything. Their chip and salsas were so fresh, tasted as if he just blended the ingredients together at the table. The bartender greeted us as soon as we walked in, I apologized for walking in 10 minutes before closing. He disregarded my time and told me to make ourselves comfortable. I can't stop telling people all the good things about this location.
I might should have given the food itself higher stars, however, the service toward my son and I was terrible. We had to seat ourselves, a lady came and took both our drink and food order and brought us chips and salsa. We also ordered some cheese dip, so she brought it to us. Then she brought us our food and asked if we needed anything else. I told her that we needed silverware. I ended up having to get up and get it myself. A different man came to the table and asked how we were soon after we were served. Nobody ever came back after that to get us drink refills. Nobody ever brought us our pay ticket either. When I went to pay, I asked if they did drink refills, she then asked if we wanted a refill, we were paying and leaving??? In the meantime, they were seating people and waiting on the customers that came in after we did. I suppose we were too light in skin color. Sad sad sad. Have a great day.
If we could give this zero stars, we definitely would! The place smelled like a trash truck as soon as I stepped thru the door! We know good Mexican food and this ain’t it! Our food had zero flavor, the rice was basically white rice! Beans taste like they came from a can. I had quesadilla with steak. It was just meat and cheese! My husband had chicken and queso on a bed of rice, no flavor at all!! Both are STAPLES at Mexican restaurants & somehow they managed to slaughter BOTH! Will not be back and definitely wish we could get a refund, especially seeing that we paid $25 WITHOUT DRINKS! We ended up giving our plates to our dogs! This shouldn’t be classified as a Mexican restaurant! TACO TICO IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS, EVEN THO ITS FAST FOOD!
Top shelf Mexican food. Would recommend to anyone. The owner is very friendly and helpful
