Me and son have been eating here since we moved to Texarkana back in 1992 it has always had wonderful fish and we miss that salad bar so much but I see that it's coming back little by little I give catfish king a 5star
I didn't buy anything. I was looking for a dress. For my granddaughter for Church. And everything they had was showing the back. Or very low cut in front. Or the sides were cut out. Showing to much of her body. And she is twenty years old. And she said let's leave. They have nothing I would wear. So we left. Shame on Dillard's.
The experience I had tonight was totally unacceptable. While I waited 15-20 minutes for a dozen hushpuppies, that by the way, the cashier didn't even know how many that was, I witnessed the kitchen crew gripping and backtalking so bad to the manager on staff tonight. Catfish King once was a good place to enjoy a nice meal, not anymore. This more than likely is the reason the parking lot is always so empty when I drive past. GO TO ME-O-MY-O’s for real seafood!!! This place should be closed down? Man do I wish I would’ve read the reviews before going here??♀️ In hindsight, they’re all accurate af! Fish resembled chicken in look and taste, beans were super trash, coleslaw even worse! Don’t dare try the shrimp ? fries were mediocre, just avoid this place all together! Customer service was just as bad as the food! They completely screwed our order up TWICE! Will not be back and wish I’d never gone! ?? Don’t have pictures for very good reason?
It took FOREVER to receive my order. The cook and crew talked too much and too loud. Couldn't think without being forced to listen to them. Food arrives. Bland (supposed to be Cajun). No silverware. I only ate it because I paid for it. Will not return.
This place sucks the fish fillets are so small long waiting time for cold fish this place is sadly over rated coleslaw was dry it didnt deserve a star this should have negative stars in give this place -5 stars won't come back look how small they are
I’ve always enjoyed the food at Catfish King but lately it’s been under done. I have to ask for extra crispy just to it cooked… more than that the employees fuss argue and are loud and carry on then the Mgr goes screaming at them to hush.. the music is absolutely ridiculously blaring you can not have a across your own table convo. I hate to say it BUT AS OF TODAY I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! I’ll go to a place I know in Texarkana that are kind n polite and cook fish as instructed.. it cost more but if you’re afraid your going to go deaf or get hit or shot at from CK it’s well worth it.
I should have known. It was nearly empty at 7 o'clock on a Friday. The other two customers were waiting for a while for their food. We ordered and received ours within 10 minutes. When I bit in to the catfish I thought it was chicken. It was tastless and clearly frozen. It was so bad we got up and left. Will not recommend this place to anyone.
Great food & friendly prompt customer service!! Catfish & oyster dinner was delish with good presentation. Mmm ????
Not as good as it used to be years ago! Pieces of fish were tiny & chicken strips were overcooked. Friendly & good service at the drive thru
