First timer. Pricey. Good for the most part. Mashed potatoes tasted & smelled horrible. Peach cobbler was made with pie crust ends.
I just loved everything about the Blue Water Bayou the people was very professional and very friendly I will be going back again.
I was really disappointed with the taste of my food. The prices were much to high for the quality and quantity of the meal. $16 for two small strips of catfish (not American cat)a spoon of mac &cheese, hand full of over cooked shoestring fries and cornbread muffin.
What a hidden treasure! Man I’m telling you if you want flavor then get off the beaten path and give this place a try! We had the gumbo to share and the smothered chicken y’all for real. Sides was greens and rice and gravy! Sorry no pictures but when it got there I dove into it. Fried shrimp was huge! The owner knows his flavor because it was not lacking in any! The service was awesome music great! We will be back. Worth the drive from Oklahoma to come eat!
This isn't the most affordable soul/seafood in town but it's ok for lunch...if you have at least an hour and $44 for two... Not to hate but to simply review for improvements... the food was hot but the gizzards aren't chewy and crispy like you'd expect. It's like they boil them before frying... not my personal preference.. the fried fish is good but the pork chops and gravy weren't my favorite... We didn't hate our meal but both said next time we'd order something different... we'll return again but hey... you be the judge.
Had to wait quite a bit due to staffing issue. However the food that was brought to us was absolutely fantastic. Fried Buffalo Fish ribs with cabbage, peas and cornbread was worth every second. The sauce with it was tangy and complimented everything. My dining partner had the fried oysters with Mac n cheese and peas and it too was delicious and delightful. I don't think I could compliment the food or the hospitality any more. This will be one to come back to.
Today was our first time visiting this amazing place, and WOW!! I had the meatloaf with Mac & cheese and greens, and my boyfriend had the gumbo. We ordered a peach cobbler as well and everything was so good! We will definitely be back!

My family order from here often. We have pretty much tried almost everything on their menu and have yet to be disappointed. Be prepared for a wait because your food is made fresh. The flavors of their dishes keeps us wanting more. I'm assuming the gentlemen that I have interacted with on several occasions is the owner. He is friendly, witty, and knows how to make you order more food without hesitation. This is a great establishment.
This place offers a unique cuisine for the area. Everything on the menu is awesome...especially their ox tails, catfish and gumbo! The menu does vary on certain days but you will never be disappointed. Our food is made to order so look forward to a bit of a wait. But its fresh food..no bagged or frozen items.
