Nice place! Huge portions, attentive and friendly staff. The enchiladas could have gone without the cheeze-wiz flavored sauce but it was easy to scrape off lol!
My husband and I loved this restaurant from the moment they brought us chips with 3 different salsas. The chicken enchiladas were incredible with their queso sauce. The best tamale I've had. My husband loved his steak burrito with chili. The waitress was fast and very friendly. We'll return next time in Texas!!
After eating at the three locations my whole life, it deeply saddens me to see what amigo juan's has become over the last 3 years. Prices have risen more than other restaurants' in the area while at the same time the quality has dropped off the map. If you want to be nickeled and dimed over bland tex-mex, this is your place.
When I got to the restaurant they weren't quite ready for my order, so I waited maybe 5 additional minutes. But it came out promptly. Now my one beef us normally it's packaged in a bag, box, or similar. They just put the pans of food in my hatch area. Really would have helped to have a box or bag to get it inside instead of making 3 trips. Also lost some of the rice when I had a small accident. Now for the food:This stuff is delicious. Their salsa, white queso, and most importantly the fajita beef and chicken were amazing. Tender. Flavorful. Really really good.So good I almost went back for dinner. So overall for my catering order it was great. Just, help a guy out with a box next time.
Last minute lunch date. Amigo Juan staff was extremely friendly, kept our drinks topped off. Everything also tasted authentic, we had Carne Asada Burrito plate, Taco Salad which is their Monday specials, and 3 chicken enchiladas. Their Queso was so good to the kiddos on top of their enchiladas. Instead of putting it on top she opted to put it on the side just in case she didn't like, but turns out you can both dip and pour. Great place to dine will return. They have a large cocktail selection as well. I suggest the Arkansas (Razorback)Tea.
Very good... they are repainting the outside...not sure if I like it
Best restaurant in town. Great customer service. And we loved the food. We highly recommend it.
The food is good but I wish there was more room between the tables; it feels crowded. Waitress was friendly. We were seated immediately and the food was out quickly...an important fact when dining with hungry children.
O. K. Amigo Juan’s food is good. HOWEVER, the waitress stood over my shoulder the entire time while I signed my receipt. That is is horrible and definitely decreased her TIP. FYI— waiters and waitresses do not stand over the shoulder of the guest/ customer/ patron as they complete their ticket. Otherwise…..Juan Amigo’s was delicious.
They were really busy on a Friday night about 7 pm so we completely understand having to wait for a table. They had booths as well as tables available for seating. The quesadilla was made with tiny pieces of chicken and vegetables on an herb-flavored tortilla. One of the only good points of dinner was the shrimp. Very tasty and big and warm. The salsa at the table was extremely mild.
