We had a family member at the ICU at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, we asked one of the nurses if they had any recommendations for dinner. They all said the Mexican Grille #2. This was truly one of the best Mexican restaurants I have had the pleasure of dinning. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, the music all of it was fantastic! I had the Chimichanga and a Corona Margarita. Delicious!
Mexican plate. Menu said beef enchilada it came out cheese. Was suppose to get crispy taco, I eat that first because it will get soggy after a while. The taco did not sit but a few seconds in my plate. When I picked it up in the bottom fell out. The taste was lacking. The table was wobbly. I asked to change tables. It took 10 minutes before I did it myself. I left a good tip even though I didn't think they deserved it.
Food came out after a half hour of waiting during a shift change, it was cold and Luke warm at best. Waitress refilled chips, ignored us then when we were leaving to go elsewhere started calling us racist bc we didn't want to wait longer for them to remake our food. It was not a pleasant experience. The drive through is the best option bc they are usually on point and delicious. I hope she gets fired!!!!!
SMH Fries in my fajitas??? Terrible to-go service tonight. Use to be my "Go To" spot...3 strikes and you've lost a faithful customer.
Ordered a shrimp quesadilla to go while I dined in. the tortilla was soggy and mushy as if it was raw. My fiancé did his best to eat it without complaining but decided he couldnt. Restaurant did off to give me half my money back because they said 2 of the quesadillas were eaten which isn’t true. But it’s better than nothing. Overall, my dine in experience was horrible, my tables order were wrong, & food quality not the best. Would not recommend:)
First off, our server, Anna, was wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and caring. Good things here were Queso, excellent, Chips and salsa, average, chicken enchiladas very good, beans, good, presentation very good. Flour and corn tortillas, horrible, too thick no flavor. Beef and chicken fajitas poor, small pieces, over cooked, bland, and the onions snd peppers burned to mush. For the cost (reasonable) don’t think we’ll return.
First time coming and April was great. The marg was perfect! Food was great. Can't wait to come back

This place always looks busy. Thought I'd give it a try. Ordered a bean and cheese burrito. I've never had Velveeta type cheese on a bean and cheese burrito. I'm not a fan of it. Would definitely not order yet again. Yuck
Service was very poor made us feel unwelcome and the food was overpriced for the quality. I've had better service and food from this same location but lately it's been a down turn my last few visits.
