This is one excellent restaurant for Tex Mex. I had the Tamales, my wife the Chimi's, my daughter had Enchiladas. Great service and excellent flavored food. Highly recommended to any spending time in Temple.
This was out 1st time here and it was AMAZING! We have found our new favorite Mexican place! Great food and great service... add the picture of my 19 yr olds beef tongue taco.. he said it was amazing.. tender and would order again...Food: 5/5
The food was excellent. I had the Texano plate, which consisted of enchiladas, a taco, rice and beans. The service was fair, but could have been better. The atmosphere is inviting.
I checked on here before and couldn't find the full menu. So I took pictures of the full menu so everyone can see. :) Great service by the way.
I would like to give more stars, and from the other reviews I see today may have been a one off. But the service was not great. It seems our order was lost in the kitchen, and I know that happens, but our waitress didn't check on us for quite some time. We were out of drinks and sitting for about 25 minutes or more still waiting on our food..with nothing to drink. Many who came in 10-15 minutes after us were already eating or almost done eating. When she did come back to check on us, it was because she realized we hadn't gotten our food. She went back to the kitchen to ask, then didn't come back until 5-10 minutes later when she had our plates. It was only then we were able to request refills. The waitress was very nice, and I knew she felt bad that our order got lost, because she put that we had waters instead of the tea amd soda we ordered. It was just disappointing for our first visit. I'm sure we will go back, and I'll update my review then. The food was good, the decor was nice, and the staff was friendly... definitely can't fault them for that!
Visited this place twice now and the service has been great. Food is good and lots to pick from the huge menu. The shrimp cocktail is nicely dressed and it is one of the best shrimp cocktails I have had. The margaritas are good and hit you in the right way. Beer is always cold and refreshing. Abraham is one of the guys who waited on us and he is a nice guy just trying to do his job as best he can. Humans make mistakes and things happen, so don’t expect perfection every time as it does not always happen perfectly. Give this place a try and even two or three more tries. We live in an imperfect world so have patience and be kind to the wait staff and the whole organization here. You never know who your gate keeper will be. Thank you guys for always being perfect here for us. Will see you again soon.
Very clean. Busy in the morning for breakfast. A lot of good food in each serving. Taste is fresh and hot.Lemonade is not strong citrus or bitter. Very smooth flavor. All you can drink available in take out cups.Waitressing staff is very friendly and efficient.Table cleaner between customers is quick and efficient. She does an excellent job of cleaning the tables in between customers.This is a popular business for the great food and efficiency of the staff.
The restaurant is beautifuly decorated. The service was wonderful and food was so delicious with so much flavor. One of the best spanish restaurants I have been at.
Best Mexican food in Temple
I was talking to the lady at the drive-through when the pink "lady" stopped by to let me know they were a restaurant and not fast food. Really? And for 10 years I needed her to tell me that today? I will never spend one red cent at this restaurant! I suppose they can lose loyal customers that spend $20 or more a week. Calling mangagement this evening. Pink lady became so mouthy, I asked her 2x to go away. When she didn't, I drove off without food/paying. Can't believe she is working in a service industry job. Needs to be somewhere away from the public!
