I absolutely loved every experience I had at Freezing Point (even back when it was Maggie Moos) until tonight. It was super busy like always and most of the team members were great. Shout out to Braden and Abby who handled the night like champions. They were continuing on with smiles on their faces, and making the best of it. But my fiancé and I were checked out by a young lady named Taylor, and she was very rude. She asked what we had and I explained that I had a small with two mix ins and she snapped back real fast that “It didn’t matter if you had mix ins, I just need to know the size” which made my fiancé and I look at each other like wow that happened. Then she acted like it was an inconvenience that we paid with a gift card and once we were done paying she was like “I don’t know if this has anything left on it but here.” And threw it on the counter in front of her. I spent years as a manager in an ice cream shop like this and I would be mortified if I had an employee who acted like this towards my guests.
Fresh Ice cream for some (Awesome)shakes,etc.Clean indoor table settings, large variety of flavors,toppings,etc.outdoor seating with umbrellas. A good "Feelings"kind of a place to bring the family,friends or date!??
The staff was helpful, the vegan ice cream was awesome. I would love if they could make vegan shakes as well.
They offer a unique experience in the way you choose your ice cream then choose different add-ons such as nuts and fruits and they mix it all by hand. The line was loooong. The taste of the ice cream was ok but nothing exceptional. The service was nice, they took the time to explain how it works. It's worth trying.
This place is great. The two times I've been there there's a line but it's worth the wait. They have a lot of flavors and even more in the back. The staff are courtious and helpful as well as patient. My wife asked for several tastings they didnt bat an eye. The price is perfect for what you get. I would deffinatly recommend and plan to return soon.
I am sitting in line and the atmosphere here makes me happy. The girls here made me smile, I live in Waco will drive here just for the smiles and delicious ice cream too I guess.
I have been here several times and have never ever had a bad experience. Even when there’s a line, they are attentive and polite. Also, every time I visit, they go way out of their way to make sure I have a good experience. I brought my niece here the other day and Ashlieka (I hope I spelled it right) was SO sweet and so good to us. She went way above and beyond to make my niece feel special. The ice cream is always top notch and the customer service is even better. I will continue to come here as long as I am able because of the kindness of the staff.
Ice cream is great, they just have bad customer service. I have been here 4 times and every time I come here the workers always skip over me in line and help the next person like in not there. I can literally be looking at the associate dead in her face, while pointing to the flavor I want and she will still ignore me. I hate to have to interrupt the customer behind to get service.
Love my weekly Ice Cream fix with all my fruit usually a great experience with most of the staff fantastic as well as the fantastic owner they make my day!
This is my fav fav ice cream place in town, but the last few times I have gone I have noticed one specific employee who always has a bad attitude. Last night as well you could tell she was making aggressive && rude comments to her coworkers in front of customers whole it was super busy.I understand one can be stressed but that doesn’t mean you should take it out on others. I could tell from her coworkers attitudes they didn’t want to aggravate her or antagonize her but I have noticed this multiple times when I have come in. She also was wearing graphic pajama pants behind the counter while working which I think is really inappropriate work attire.
