Free birds is terrible. My online order was placed 33 minutes prior and I get to the restaurant and Im watching other people walk in and get their orders made right in front of their face as soon as they walk in like a subway sandwich line. My order was placed 33 minutes before they are placing their orders. I thought there was supposed to be a benefit to ordering online but nope. On top of that I don’t get acknowledged walking up to order until I get their attention WOW.

I’m from Austin so have had Freebirds many times over the years but haven’t eaten at one in years because there isn’t one particularly close to me. I have family at Scott and White hospital so poppes over here for a good hearty meal. OMG…I’d forgotten how yummy Freebirds is! I got the brisket bowl and am in a food coma. Brisket super moist and tender. Would give 10 stars if I could. Oh yea…Dani was super helpful and friendly!?!

Came in about 5 minutes before closing this evening. They didnt have any beef, which is fine but the extremely sloppy woman with piercings in her face behind the counter was really rude about it. Acted like she had a hard day or something and was taking it out on us for coming in 5 minutes before closing. Anyone can tell by looking at this out of shape person, that she has never experienced a true hard days work. I suppose its hard to find good presentable help these days but wow.

I was gifted a $50 gift card for my birthday to Freebirds. I was excited. Well, apparently the store isn't able to accept gift cards now because they have a new POS system. Which renders my gift card useless. I've gone in twice to use it on different days and neither time was it able to be used. I asked when they might be able to correcr this problem and was told "i dont know, its a new system", which effectively does not answer any questions. Ive already been teetering on switching back to chipotle because the food quality at this location as gone down. It used to be quite flavorful and has become blander as time goes on. This may well end up being the nail in the coffin for freebirds. I don't expect perfect, but what kind of business rolls out a new system without having adequate training with the system? You can't expect teens rolling burritos to be able to sort this sort of thing out, it isn't what they are paid to do. Someone with the knowledge and authority to correct problems as they arise should be available to the staff and prioritize fixing equipment rollout issues. A more assertive approach from upper management to be involved in the smooth switchover would seem to be the obvious solution....apparently not though. Do you know how demoralizing it is to go pay for your order and then need to leave because the gift card that was bought and paid for isnt being accepted. It was my lunch break and i had to skip lunch because i didnt have time to go elsewhere. At least put a sign on the door...now im stuck with a gift card that I can't use till who knows when. DO NOT BUY FREEBIRDS GIFT CARDS AT THIS TIME!!!

I’m currently in a line of two people and the guy behind the counter has been talking to his friend for 10 minutes without even acknowledging me or the other customers update… it’s been 18 minutes but I can hear him congratulate his friend on an “awesome” arm tattoo he got and his new apartment… some service training would solve these types of problems… one of the coworkers with a beard had to come take our order…

I decided to try freebirds for the first time after having multiple bad experiences with chipotle and it was awesome! The food is good, the portions are getting what you pay for, and the staff was super friendly.

When my husband went in to pick up my order at the time they told me he had to wait and additional 15 to 20 mins for them to make my order. He said the girls were on their phones when he went in and no one acknowledged him. As far as the food the tacos were a disappointment, but the nachos were good. This isn't my first experience with them. The first time I went in to pick up and order me and a lady waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged a the pick-up window. She had been there before me and somehow I was served first. She rightfully stored out. At the end of the day, I will not be returning to this location.

Huge burritos made to order! Friendly service?

The burrito was pretty good, but I like the option to have cauliflower rice! I never put rice in my burrito because of the empty carbs but cauli-rixe, good option!

Best bowl ever. So fresh and healthy. Clean restaurant.
