Horrible service and food!! Took almost an hour juat for glass of water, the rude watress just place a big water jug on table and didnt want to serve at all. And when the terrible experience was finally over. I was just waiting and waiting to pay at the counter. I felt uncomfortable the whole time I was here. Please don't come here. If u aren't a certain race u aren't welcome here
I'd had some bad experiences here years ago, but decided to give them another try because I drive by every day now.I'm glad I did. The staff is courteous, the food delicious, the portions are nice, and the prices are amazing. This is now somewhere I eat dinner at least once a week. They even had good live music this past Friday night.EDIT:I am pretty disappointed with the service my girlfriend and I received here on April 14th. We walked in the front door and waited to be seated, and the waitress that approached just said "we close at ten, they're already cleaning up".It was only 9:23. I turned around and walked out and ate at Sol de Jalisco instead.I won't be back for awhile, if ever, and I'd been eating here at least twice a week lately.
Went here for Mothers day. The Moms special was delicious and my wife enjoyed it thoroughly. The rest of the food was amazing as well. The refried beans are phenomenal. Today was the first visit, but will not be the last. I definitely look forward to trying more menu items. Each plate came out piping hot. I know the main courses were made fresh!I was amazed to have just been looking around and taking in the sights when one of the young men, I believe who was bussing or running food to tables, made eye contact. He immediately came to me and asked if I needed anything. Very attentive!!Atmosphere was appropriate, music was a tad higher than Id like for early dinner dining. However, they did lower it while I was there, perhaps someone else said something. Our waitress could have come to the table a little more to check on us. Which if the food and portions werent so amazing this would have been a 4 star review instead of 5. Food taste, quality, and quatity made up for the waitress not being attentive.
I love this place. The Mexican food is authentic. The tortillas are homemade and fluffy. My experiences have been great. The food is delicious and the serving size matches the price. The taco sizes and amount of food in the tacos are great compared to the neighboring taquerias or Jalisco's in the 76502 zip code. The service is great. The only negative thing to mention is the green sauce recently through the drive thru was watery, and not thick per usual, which is huge for me because I LOVE the green hot sauce.
Service was friendly. Biggest problem, was that as soon as we left, my husband and I began vomiting not even a mile down the road. Had to pull over, and both began vomiting profusely. We had just met up that night, he was working in temple, I went to visit, so this is the only thing we had. He had the verde enchiladas and I had a combo plate #10. Definitely will not be back. Luckily, neither of us finished our plates, could've been worse.
I’ve been customer to El Puerto since about 2013!! I have not EVER been disappointed!!! I’ve been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Whenever my family comes into town they ALWAYS request to come here for their breakfast because of the fresh squeezed orange juice with huevo rancheros! Very convenient drive-thru for the evenings I don’t feel like cooking! I love this place!!
