The bbq sauce was runny. The service was friendly. Was out of a few things. The meat was ok, but didn’t have the smoke flavor.
Great BBQ and amazing mac & cheese! Friendly staff!!! We were just passing through town & stumbled upon Al’s but we will definitely be back!!! A++++
Ate here for the first time and the service was great, friendly staff and the whole family loved the food. Hamburgers were kid approved and bbq was flavorful/tender!

Staff was friendly but other than that I won’t be back unless i want catfish and tarter. Loved the tarter and the catfish was good. Bbq sauce needs a lot of help. Ribs were average and sides were ok. But way too much competition for mediocre food.
I highly recommend their chopped beef. It really is the best I've ever eaten. The employees are also courteous and make you feel like you are a valued customer.

It had been a few years since visiting this place for some of the best fried catfish (Friday All You Can Eat) and BBQ in Texas. Our visit today was a huge disappointment! First the restaurant was too hot. Second, they have done away with the “All You Can Eat” Catfish. I now know perhaps the reason. The catfish was the worst I’ve ever had. Thick overcooked coating that was absolutely tasteless. All the sides were overcooked as well. The BBQ was plain lousy. This is a place to be avoided until they relearn to cook!
My wife and I ate supper here. They were out of everything. We did manage to get some bbq which was mostly fat. I hope lunch is better than supper or this place won't be in business much longer. Needless to say, we won't be back.
