Every time I come here, I leave impressed. Food is always yummy and always arrives to the table promptly. This time, at this location, I tried the hasbrown casserole, vanilla iced latte, and peach cobbler a la mode. The hasbrown casserole was just a little side order, and I wish I'd have asked for two of them! It's AMAZING!! The latte and cobbler were likewise satisfying. Dad, whom I was dining with, had trout, steak fries, and coleslaw; fudgy chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert. He told me that he enjoyed his food as much as I had. Can't wait to go back.
The food was awesome! Our server was okay. She did not check on us regularly. She took 10 min to bring me my tea refill. I had to remind her. And she served food to all but my daughter and truly did not see that she had no food and did not even look. I had to tell ask her where my daughters plate was. The energy level was lacking and her attention to the big details were lacking. We had to ask her for our ticket and she was trying to tell us that she already gave it to us, but then she looked and she still had it.
I was disappointed in the food this time. The ham seemed very salty and the meatloaf not as tasty as usual. Chicken and dumplings were great. The sampler platter had waaaaaay more food on it than it used to. Two to three of us could have shared it. My big kids said their food tasted just as good as it usually does. We were seated quickly and the service was good.
This is a two part rating. The meal was quite good, and I think the cuisine would meet the needs of most Americans in search of "comfort food" with a decent choice of options. 4 of 5 stars for over all quality, but 5 of 5 for the pancakes, which were griddle crips at the edge and soft and fluffy throughout. The staff was better than most, as they were polite, we were properly greeted, and service was on par for the setting; earning 4 of 5 stars because I liked it. Nothing "wow-ed" me, but it was consistent, and that is the appeal of this type of restaurant. 5 of 5 is supposed to be for the very best experiences or you "loved it", and I thought the rock solid, reliable experience was good enough for 4 of 5 stars.
Had a terrible experience the first time I came here. Waiter was extremely rude. Food was terrible. Spent around 50 dollars and didn’t enjoy any of it. After filing a complaint through there website and waiting 2 weeks for a response they sent me a free desert. Really that’s how they compensate? Oh well I returned hoping it would be a different story. Nope had a different waiter who sucked, food was still bad, and I was charged for items I didn’t order. Save your time and money this place is poorly ran. Manger came to talk to me as well and no apology or nothing. Won’t be coming back

I'm yet to be at a Cracker Barrel and not be happy while there! It's my go-to for comfort, ease, & good ol homestyle cooking. The service is always wonderful! I think all locations should have fried chicken livers on their menus
The food was good, however I was disappointed the service wasn't better, and that affected the meal in general. Granted, it was busy. That doesn't excuse lack of basic customer service. Plus, there were two pieces of fried chicken bones on the floor that both customers and staff kept stepping over, despite the bones being in the main walkway as you entered the restaurant.Maybe hire more staff?I'll still go for breakfast, but I don't think I'll return for dinner.
Went for breakfast this morning and was disgusted on how filthy all the dishware was visibly soiled like it was not even washedVisibly greasy finger prints all over the silverware and cups had a film on them that I could literally scratch off with my nail
Chicken tenders were good with the pickled ranch dressing. The potpie was a little salty and missing some crucial flavor element that could have made it much much better. No where close to my mom's recipe. Susan, our waitress was excellent. Store was very fun to look around.
