The place is very hard to get to, the people are friendly enough, the prices are ok, but there aren't many deals available. The food is alright, a bit greasy, and they're usually out of something, so you have to settle on another item. To me, the chicken sandwich and the okra are the best menu items. It's not a great place but certainly not a terrible place, it's comfortably acceptable.
Not only is the customer service rude but they are out of pieces that you ask for, charges prices that don't match the board and tax does not corresp9nd to 8.25% tax. They charge more. I ordered a 2 piece mix which they were out of white meat so I ordered a two piece dark which I would be charged the same price and was told that I was getting a the right price since that was what they were going to change the price too. I explained that is not what your board is reading right now but rudely I was told it didn't matter. If this is how they treat customers when and you spend your hard earned money it's not worth it. Spend your money where at least the customer service is good.
Popeye's, KFC, and bushes in this town could learn a thing or two from this place! And that is really saying something because this place is not above and beyond but their food sure as hell is and you almost will never be their price for the quality and quantity!
Gotten lunch for my Temple College granddaughter.The food and service was excellent,we visit the restaurant as often as we can.The window person was very professional and taken Brittanys , order in less 5 min she was ? on her back to Tjc.She made a comment about, wishing that instead of placing one order, she should have made it a double order, because her older sister,Olivia wanted a part of her lunch.l had to remind her of the grandma rule ,never ever ask,or touch ,the Church's Chicken Special of the day.
The black lady had an attitude and got mad at me when she told me she ran out of buns for my customer's chicken sandwich meal. then cussed me out when I walked out. I would give zero stars if I could!

Fabulous fried chicken with great flavor as always. I have to order 3 large mashed potatoes because it’s my family’s favorite of all the fried chicken locations in Temple. Great employees that are always friendly.
Food is usually always correct. Customer service is the rudest! Never know if the lobby is open. Door will be unlocked. But they’ll tell you it’s closed.
Chicken sandwich is pretty good. Better than the Popeyes version if you ask me.
The night manager doesn't do there job at all the last 3 times I've been there my order was completely wrong and why say u have Spicy chicken but never do. I thought churchs chicken comes with a biscuit with every meal, the last 3 times I order extra biscuits get home, Surprise NO BISCUITS.
