I had heard about this restaurant and decided to try it. The food was very good! My usual lunch would have been a salad, but I decided to venture out and make some other choices. The food did not disappoint! What was alarming, I had a view of the kitchen and two cooks I noticed were constantly wiping perspiration from their forehead and touching their face, head and playing on their phone while cooking the food. This made me very concerned about the cleanliness of my food and reminded me why it is better to eat at home when possible!
We have heard how great Bird Creek Burger Company was from our daughters. Since we were in Temple to visit our daughter, we decided to see if it was a good as they said. We had a great waitress named Rae who quickly waited on us, kept our drinks full, and checked on us often. I had the Chicken and Waffles while my wife had the Benedict Cumberhash. My wife said it was one of the best she's ever had and mine wasn't bad either. Definitely will go back next time we're in town.
Stopped in to get a burger and ended up with a chicken sandwich and parmesan garlic fries that were absolutely to die for. Food was great! Nice atmosphere, relatively quiet when I was there. Families to everyone else. Service was good.
Went in at about 11:20 this Sunday, they were getting hit pretty good, loved watching a kitchen flow so smoothly under stress while running a lunch and brunch menu.Food was incredible, girlfriend and I loved it. We are from the DFW area and are already trying to make plans to come back! Service was attentive, host and 2 servers kept up with us and made sure everything was fine.All in all, one of the best burgers I've ever had and if I lived closer I'd be an every day regular. Fair price for what they are serving as well.
Came today (2.18) and am quite disappointed. Placed a to go order - classic burger, parm fries & pecan pie. Burger was decent. Fries were soggy & not like regular parm fries. Seemed like they just drenched them with a garlic aioli. Pecan pie was made 2.8… so they are serving it to me almost 2 weeks after, I just threw it away immediately. A few hours later, I find myself sick. Food poison symptoms, this is the only place I ate today outside of breakfast.
We are here for the first time last week and we will definitely be back. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was easily one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. The kids meals were huge and my kids enjoyed the macaroni and cheese as well as the chicken fingers. My son wanted to try the pecan pie so we also ordered that. It came out in a cute mason jar and overall was good. Way too much to eat for one person!
This place was ???I would come back here for the food anytime. Food was delicious. Drinks were good. Fries were to die for.Definitely a family friendly/hipster atmosphere.The only downside to eating here is you will smell like burgers/grease all day. The ventilation in the restaurant isn't that good. You can see the cooking steam when you walk in.I would highly recommend the food here to anyone. They also have home grown vegetables and herbs out front of the restaurant!
Wow! Just wow!This was such a surprise. We were in from out of town, needed a spot for dinner, and ended up having a feast! I can't wait to go back with family and friends.We had fried cheese curds, each had a burger, and I added fried green tomatoes to my burger.Y'all. ❤️?Go, eat here, now.
Dined here for the first time and my experience was wonderful! One of the best hamburgers I've ever tasted - was their "weekly special" with a generous slice of Portobello mushroom, bacon and freshly-grated cheddar cheese. The 'side salad' was a freshly-made disk with just the right amount of fresh diced tomatoes, and ranch dressing. Started everything off with their cheese curds with ranch dressing. My, oh my! A dining experience that'll be tough to top. Service staff is very helpful and friendly. Kitchen staff also deserve a "hat's off" for not only providing a splendid meal, but very-well presented plates I'd expect from a four star restaurant.
Fabulous as usual! Had the Chicken and Waffles and they did not disappoint!
