Went to this restaurant as all the places we wanted to go had 1-2 hour waits for Mother’s Day.We were told there was going to be a wait after having just called to ensure there was no wait (the restaurant was half empty).We had to ask other servers for plates for our appetizer and for them to ask our server for more drinks. We received only 3 meals of the 6, they were done before 2 more meals came out and my meal (a salad) didn’t come out until after my entire family had finished their meals.Our toddler got 3x the amount of fries in his kids meal than our 18 year old son did in his adult meal. We asked about it and were told they must have run low on the fries as they “got slammed” (the restaurant was half empty) and forgot to say that they would be back for fries.They never came with more fries. We constantly had to chase down our server to get a drink. There was no apology just excuses. I’d much rather “I’m sorry, I’ll fix that for you.” than a bucket list of excuses.
Young guy with glasses sat us in a corner. He looked uninterested in his job. We sat there for over 10 mins without so much as a drink order. Mind you it was practically empty. We go to the copperas cove location and it’s x10 busier and we get asked for drinks right away every time. Mother in law physically got up and asked one of the waiters standing around for service and he said he will get right on it and proceeds to just stand there and do nothing. We sat there for another 5 mins and got fed up and just left. I have never seen such an empty restaurant with several employees just standing around. Never going back to this location.
My family has been eating at Applebee's for years. I will say that their prices have gone up and I don't like that they've cut the spinach dip in half...yet the price is more. One thing I'm glad about is the introduction of the Impossible burger to their menu. It was delicious!
Second time there. It's where I go for a beer after work. The bartender is very cool and actually remembered what I drink. Haven't had any food yet but smells good
The waitress was the best!!!! She did everything in her power to make us feel comfortable . She even adjusted the lighting because one of us had a headache. Food was delicious. 2 adults and three kids all very pleased. Glad we stopped here after a long road trip!
Great place to eat, food was great. Staff was friendly. Wasn't too crowded at the time we went. (Maybe noonish) easy parking to get in and out. Will definitely come back for another visit.
The food was terrible!My son got a kids corn dog meal and the corn dog was shriveled up and completely over cooked. The bourbon street chicken meals my husband and I ordered tasted like the chicken was bad!!Our waitress was new and so confused about everything going on, we were patient with her but between trying to explain things to her and the food being horrible we will definitely not be going back to Applebee's!!
This location is not a good one in my opinion. I’ve tried going a few times and every time it hasn’t went well. On the last visit 3 out of 5 got sick while physically at this location from the food. I enjoy applebees every now and then but at this particular location I’ve only had bad experiences.
When I saw this Chester Cheetah, I had to have it for my boys. Their dad passed away a few years ago and he loved Chester (even had a CC tattoo). The manager and staff were so sweet and not only let me have it, but were just all around such kind people. My boys loved it! Such amazing people at this location. Thank you for making my boys' day!
Now I know why most Applebee's are closing. The service for the most part was terrible. I asked for a steak medium rare what I received was a state that was well done. I sent it back it came back Raw. I sent it back again it came back medium well. I told the waitress to forget it my sister finished her dinner somebody else came over with the check and said I don't know what went on but apparently you aren't being charged for your meal. They should not have charged my sister either. A good manager would have come up and taking care of the issue. But nobody showed up. No, I will never ever go back there again
