When you want to ignore the outside world and forget about your troubles, unfortunately Cheers is too far away. Instead, I took my family to Wendy's to share a meal and a frosty. We arrive only to discover the ABC Jan 6th hearing is playing loudly on the store TV and no one in the store could get the manager to change the channel. Everyone in the store had to listen to the broadcast through a meal. It was loud, obnoxious and strange that a manager wouldn't put on anything else for anyone in the store. How about maybe the Astros game? You could have even played Dallas re-runs!
The level of service you receive from day to night shift shouldn’t be any different.On Friday night the male manager was rude beyond disrespectful after requesting a refund no “order ahead” has ever taken over 15 minutes.I asked the male worker at the drive thru how much longer he went to check I could hear him asking another male about my salad replied to him that worker was mopping.Then I was handed a drink that was near the window seal to pull up your order is being made.The drink had sat so long water was at the top of the beverage.Keep in mind a salad and a drink was ordered simplest thing ever.I requested a refund male manager came to drive thru stated “don’t give refund cancel on your phone”.I’m a frequent customer at this location well aware that refunds could of been provided order on app or not.The level of humility and poor service having a customer wait almost 20 mins didn’t get a salad or a refund.Yes after the drive thru accepts your order NO way to cancel maybe store manager could retrain him.I’m sure to address a customer with no concern while your staff is mopping and playing around is not the way to represent leadership at Wendy’s.
First let me start with how clean this restaurant is. As soon as I walked in, the manager, Nosh greeted me and asked me how I was doing and how my day was. I walked to the counter to order and Nosh asked me if I had any questions about the menu. I'm a big fan of Wendy's so I was familiar with everything. I ordered a number 1 double meat and drink. Before I could finish filling my drink, my name was called and my order was ready. While it came out quick, the burger looked like someone took their time making it. In the history of history a burger has never came out looking like the picture on the menu. It was fast, hot, and fresh. This was a refreshing visit to a fast food establishment. Wendy's should be proud to have a manager like Nosh. I watched as he spoke to each customer with a true sense of caring about their visit. Wow, what a nice lunch. Nosh and I spoke for a few minutes after I ate. What a really nice guy. To take a few minutes to chat was impressive. The restaurant is the nicest well maintained Wendy's I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds. Please recognize Nosh and his team for doing a great job. I will stop here every time I'm in Sugarland.
