We had a great experience at Umami! Everything we ordered was beautiful and delicious. They have a top tier sushi selection plus many items that aren't usually offered at other sushi restaurants. Some unusual items we loved were the baked mussels and crispy rice. All the rolls and nigiris we ordered were soooo good!Umami would be great for a nice date night or even just a "treat yourself" meal. Definitely comparable in quality to Uchi or Hidden Omakase. Yum!

I’ll give 5 stars for the quality of the food, decor, and service. Food is exceptional and what you’d expect from a high end sushi restaurant in the city. However, they don’t carry hot sake… why?

nice place and super fresh quality sushi. Choice cuts and premium taste. Full of different flavors and exotic fishes paired with sweet fruits. Presentation is a cut above makes the dining experience to the next level.
Their sushi is below my expectation. Ordered the bluefin tuna and they weren’t fresh imo and were poorly cut. Their sushi was very average and a little overpriced. Ordered their udon soup too and it was very bland in taste and nothing special about it. Customer service is very great tho. Their utensils are pretty decent. Other than that nothing special about this place.
My family and I celebrated my daughter's birthday at Umami this weekend. It was our first time visiting. We were very pleased! Everything was very delicious. FRESHEST sushi we've had in awhile and the servers were wonderful. My husband and I really enjoy having sushi together on impromptu date nights, so having another sushi restaurant option that is close to home makes us really happy. We will most definitely be back - often.
