Mediterranean food and the scene here is better than most. Good place to catch up with friends. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. This place has a nice atmosphere. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

Mediterranean food at this spot - super good. It was so delicious. The staff was friendly and sociable. The prices are good for what you get. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.

mediterranean food here - yummy. I'll return with my relatives. I see why this place has so many good reviews.

One of my preferred spots for tasty Mediterranean food. I'll return with my relatives. It has a cool feel to it. Mood here is similar to Fresno's scene.

We went on the last day of Houston Restaurant Week. Turquoise Grill is in the heart of Sugar Land's Town Center, just down from City Hall.As we walked over, a line of people were posing on the front steps of City Hall. It must have been a human art display because it was dark when we walked back and they were all sitting with heads down in the same spots.A lot of the shops were closed for Labor Day, but the restaurant had several tables of customers on the sidewalk patio. We chose to eat inside. It's a pretty little restaurant. We hadn't been here in a while. Glad we came. My husband had the shrimp-topped Scottish Salmon with shrimp cocktail as appetizer and rice pudding for dessert. His salmon was perfectly grilled and the best I've tasted in years! The cocktail had five big, tender shrimp. The cinnamon-dusted rice pudding was fine, but would have looked nicer served in a little glass or ceramic bowl rather than a styrofoam cup.My choice was the sampler appetizer, grilled lamb chops and baklava. I have to say that it was really, really good!Hummus + falafel + quinoa tomatoes + baba ghanoush + dolmades + pita bread = happiness! I could have stopped eating after this platter and been fine. The smokiness of the baba ghanoush was wonderful. The medium grilled lamb chops are pink inside and so tasty! There was plenty of mashed potatoes and just enough grilled vegetables. The only issue I had was that the baklava wasn't as light and crispy as I've had. It was a flat-ish healthy version, with no honey drizzle on top.Overall, the exceptional entrees and my Mediterranean sampler made for a memorable dinner.

Decent and healthy option in Sugarland. The lunch prix fixe was a steal!
