The Chicken here is juicy and flavorful! There are lots of options available, not matter what, I would highly recommend the white sauce and hot sauce offered here!
Tried after a recommendation from a solid foodie. Wasn't disappointed. The ciabatta bun was a bit tough and they instantly gave me a new one and even updated to hot upon request.Left the place with clear sinuses. Definitely gonna make this a regular spot for spicy cravings.Port of Peri you blew me away!!
The food itself is enjoyable and halal; the sauce ties it together. I have ordered from this location at least 10 times. However, when I went in store to ask for extra sauce, the worker was very impolite. Tried shaking me off when they were misunderstanding my question completely, making me ask it multiple times. After actually understanding, they said it was already in the burger in a moody attitude. The food is good, but the customer service is horrible. This is also not the first negative interaction I have had with the workers there.
As a vegan, they have decent vegetarian and vegan options. I come here for the falafel and rice. I even catered for my kids and they loved it. Food is always fresh.
We go at least once every 2 weeks, since its no other peri peri chicken matches the taste, juiciness and the sauces that go with it. The food is delicious and the staff is always kind and accommodating.We usually order one whole chicken and 2 large sides which is enough for at least 2 adults. Do not forget to white and spicy sauce. AMAZING!The food is always fresh, made right in front of you and delicious. There are lots of options, including for vegans. I personally love chicken thighs and rice (with mild sauce, which is enough to actually enjoy the chicken) and the peri peri fries. The sizzler and the chicken pita are also amazing. It’s also very consistent with its taste, flavor, and service. Completely halal.We've taken our other family members as well and there's nothing on the menu that isn't worth trying! Highly recommended.
Always the best food, whether you go in towards closing or early. The food is consistently good. We always order the leg and thighs and it’s cooked to perfection. We order the peri fries and rice which adds perfect sides. The owner and management is super friendly and will accommodate you and give you suggestions when you’re ordering. Thank you!!
Have been to multiple port of peri peri locations but this was by far the best one. Very clean and the service was great. Sadaf took our order and served. The sizzler burger was superb! Definitely coming back again.
Excellent food... The taste of the chicken matches my home made one but I do wonder their secret recipe on the sauce:) One of the leading restaurants among my family's list. Very very delicious!
Apparently it's supposed to be all about the great chicken, but it is dry and tough. I checked the box for mild sauce on the side, but got HOT sauce on the chicken, with the mild sauce on the side! The salad was absolutely average with a sachet of packaged dressing on the side (not even in house dressing). No thanks, never will go here again.
This place used to be good when they first opened up but now I’m very disappointed. My chicken thighs barely had any sauce on it & the prices are just ridiculous for the quality of food being provided. I wouldn’t recommend this poor excuse of a restaurant to nobody. Be warned!
