So bad and disrespectful service the man had no joy in him and the chai was with ginger and he said not my fault ya'll should have asked and we didnt know so bad 0/10

It is unfortunate that I have to write a negative review, provided I received a good customer service.Got home from picking up the food, heat up the vada and it smelt different, so I took a bite and it tasted funky. Upon opening the vada pav, you could smell that it was STALE and didnt even look right.Their bread pakora has no filling. Its a slice of bread dipped in the batter.I would not be returning to this place

Ordered twice from Standard Sweets. Both times disappointed! Thus leaving a review as we will not be ordering from here again.1. First time, ordered food for 20 people. My husband Reached to pick up the food (as they refused delivery) at the decided time, the food was not ready, they had confused our order with someone else! Came back home. They hurried the order to “make” the food and then agreed to deliver. We did not get two dishes as they couldn’t be made last minute and the chicken biryani was STALE! It smelled weird and we got the food when our guests had already arrived. The food was certainly NOT fresh.2. Second time ordered for 8 people, hoping it would be better as it’s a smaller order. Got the food on time but, the kadhai chicken tasted horrid, the gravy was watery, the chicken was rubbery & undercooked and the rotis were raw in a few spots, not cooked properly and thick. The wheat flour tasted a bit uncooked.Threw away the kadhai chicken.3. We gave specific instructions to not make the food spicy as we had young kids over. No attention paid.- Selective dishes might taste good but there is no consistency maintained and the food is stale.- They seem to make the food in a hurry. Quality of food is very poor.- They cook it at least a day before maybe because it’s definitely not fresh food and some dishes give it away while others, you don’t realize it till the next day when they smell stale.- If you give special instructions, they don’t remember them. They don’t write things down anywhere.We are Punjabis and understand what Punjabi food is supposed to taste like. Sadly disappointed.

Dehi bhala, mix chat & jalebi when fresh. It's yummy and on point.
The dahi(yogurt) puri did not have any yogurt and instead of the pau they gave burger buns. It does not make any sense to have dahi puri on the menu, when they can’t even include the dahi in the puri.

Such a pathetic customer service, I tried 3 times and the lady at the counter behaves as if “take it or leave it”. I took 1 lb of pakora and 1/2 lb seperate bag, she charged me for separate and argues unnecessarily. Will never return to the store. Even the food is average.
