nice neighborhood sushi joint, in a neighborhood with lots of sushi choices. sashimi was extremely fresh, service was nice. Not the cheapest spot in the area but the quality of the sashimi seems to make it worth it. we had an issue when it came time to pay the bill, the system was down, i stepped out to go to the ATM machine and when I came back 10 mins later the bill was settled. they brought my wife a tablet with non English characters and a 18% tip built in with no way of adjusting. highly irregular we probably wont be coming back with tips already baked in and no way of adjusting. just to much choice out there.
Most excellent little Japanese restaurant where everything is handcrafted. Loved to sushi chef and his great creations. Goyza was great and the curry Katsu too! Details of care are evident in the salad dressing and Miso as well. Extremely atentive staff - highly recommend the little gem.
We just got off work and I didn't feel like cooking. My husband wanted ramen and I wanted sushi, so we thought we would give Oba a try.We had the ? Gyoza and salad to start. It was very yummy and the salad dressing is the bomb ?!The Tonkotsu broth is full of flavor, the pork was so tender and the noodles were cooked perfectly.I ordered the Sushi ? Pizza! I had to, we own a Pizzeria! Lol!First of all it was HUGE! It has so many layers of flavor, freshness, crunch and texture. I can't wait to order this again!Sam made our food, he is a true artist. His attention to detail is mesmerizing. While you're watching him prepare your food, you get the sense, that not only is the food fantastic, it's a next level experience.Vivian served us, she was so sweet, very attentive and accommodating.Being restaurant owners ourselves we were very pleased with both the food and the service. A pleasant side note: the bathroom is very clean and the whole place is spotless! The feel of this quaint little family owned restaurant is definitely worth going back to.Man, I am craving that Sushi Pizza while I am writing this! Lol!
My friends live nearby and recommend we try it this place. Small and cozy. My wife was hesitant about trying Japanese but loved it so much that she wanted it again for dinner. Everything was delicious. We'll be back for sure!
We had lunch their twice last week and loved the placve. Their food is excellent, price is reasonable, and the service is super. We will go back there this week.
Small cozy Japanese restaurant near our place. What I like here is, you could see the chef while he is preparing for your food. Our waitress is nice & very attentive. Food is okay but not something you would come back sooner. Cons:price is little bit expensive.

Went for date night here and the food and service was amazing. The waitress was patient and answered all our questions and helped us make our choices. Loved the very intimate setting, delicious food and great service!
Very small place makes it kind of cozy. I was impressed by the food. I normally don’t love sushi but I tried about six different ones and I loved them all. The pizza sushi was one of my favorite.
I've eaten here around 10 times and it has always been fresh, well presented, and very tasty. You could not ask for better service! It's a hidden gem, I'm surprised not many know about it. Try a Bento Box during lunch special, so much food, well worth it.
