Being from Canada (Toronto) and having heard a lot about this restaurant my family and I had very high expectations. We ordered food for our family as a result of wedding celebrations. The cashiers and greeters were very polite and answered all questions. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Our server Alina provided us absolutely amazing service, went above and beyond. Would recommend this restaurant for dine in/catering if you’re in the sugar land area. 10/10
Well best Karahi I’ve had in Texas. Very flavorful kebabs and spicy level was spot on. Reasonably priced too. Place was extremely busy even for the pickup on Sunday eve but the front desk lady was handling it all like a champ.
This was a nice experience. I love the background music and the food. We ordered four items: chicken lollipop (delicious), chicken Tikka (great), chicken makhani handi (not our cup of tea), and mutton kabulu pulao (rice was great but mutton meat was a little chewy). We would come back for the lollipop and the chicken Tikka and get regular rice with it. It was a really good deal for the lollipop and the chicken tikka.
Four stars because the service was really great, and the staff were really pleasant to work with. The samosa’s were hands down the best thing on the menu! The flavors of the other food just didn’t taste right to me. More of a home cooked meal type of flavor. And the chicken 65 wasn’t dry like you would expect- it’s in a weird sauce that was just a bit different than what you would normally receive.
I am a foodie, and I found Mai Colachi to have the best tasting, authentic food. Wouldn't mind going back multiple times
This place is 5 star in terms of food , drinks, ambiance, staffs and the portions.. we loved everything we ordered. It’s a must go place.
The chicken peshawari karahi lived up to reviews that i read here and the garlic naan was one of the best i have had in Houston. The chicken biryani was alrightThe biggest let down and one that shouldn’t be on their menu is the Cripsy Zinger style burger which was like eating a frozen burger patty and a very dry burger.I would suggest that Mai Colachi stick to your Pakistani flavors.
