Update: This meal definitely gave me food poisioning. It's the only thing I ate, and I've been sick for almost 14 hours since eating it.I had high expectations coming to La Fonda for breakfast.Their potato and egg taco was pretty much a brick of solid potato with a sprinkle of egg residue. The bacon and egg tacos barely had any bacon in it.The migas had absolutely no flavor, and the corn tortilla was pretty soggy. Also, it was lacking any significant egg. Two bites and straight to the trash can it went.Their beans are watery and unappealing. I could drink their beans using a straw. That's how runny they are.8 breakfast tacos and a small migas plate set me back over $40!! I feel ripped off, and honestly the only thing above average are their tortillas.Friendly service, but I was definitely left feeling ripped off for what I got.Save your money. This is not what you want.
Food it’s great, service could be a little faster. Even when you place and order over the phone. Family owned restaurant. If you have the time, I recommend you to try it out.
Food was ok but not worth the price, there are other locations with just as good and 1/3 of the price.
The service was incredible and the portions were very generous. Food was delicious! Will go again for sure.
I AM DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACE. I GOT AN ORDER OF TACOS AND FOUND A FLY INSIDE ONE. I took one bite and as I was putting salsa on it, I noticed the huge dead fly. WHEN I TOLD THE OWNER HE ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME AND WAS VERY RUDE.
Food was very delicious!! Service was excellent! We had an appetizer, entree and dessert and all tasted delightful.
Food was pretty good. I got 3 breakfast tacos: 2 Mexican eggs and 1 potato and egg. You can choose what sauce you want on the side and I recommend the "spicy" one even though it's not that spicy. The quantity/price combo is definitely solid. My only critique: I wish the tortilla had more fluff/flavor to it. Aside from that, this might be the best breakfast taco place in the sugar land area. If you have been spoiled with great tacos from Austin, this place is definitely a tier below those but I would definitely come back if I craved breakfast tacos on a random morning.
Sweet little authentic Latin food place! Perfect for dine in or take out on the go!
Had the machacado and got food poisoning from this spot me and my son I will never go back and it’s overpriced!!!!
Food was good, service was good, no line but the prices are too high. A half of chicken breast with rice and beans shouldn't be $19. Its not reasonable to spend $20 for lunch per day. I'm not returning.
