Best sushi I've ever had, I am 100% coming back! There is no need for a bad waiter here, all the waiters/waitresses are very kind, give the robot a pat on the back for me! 10/10
Dirty tables especially around the area you put the little plates in. Some of the food items were questionable far as freshness was concerned. Some of the food just tasted bad. I didn't get food poisoning but definitely wasn't feeling so great after this meal. We went for the experience and well we got that lol. We won't be back!
Kura is that one sushi restaurant you can always rely on for high quality, filling, and variety dishes when looking for a nice dinner out.From sushi, to ramen, to mochi ice cream, Kura is the perfect all-rounder that offers a great experience in both flavors and atmosphere. You get to enjoy experiencing conveyer belt sushi as well as various noodle dishes. Even as someone allergic to fish, you can still enjoy a meal here with Kura's chicken karaage, gyoza, tamago sushi, and ramen options. They are careful not to cross-contaminate, so if you have seafood allergies, you can still trust Kura.The Sugar Land location is great because there is typically not a wait time and the plaza it's located in is cozy and safe. The service is nice, responsive, and masked up.
Outstanding sushi go-round. This is as close to the ones we came to love while living in Japan. Some of the best sushi we’ve had in the states and it’s pretty reminiscent of the shops in Asia.A terrific selection of sushi, nigiri, rolls, gunkan, small bites, deserts and more. They also have fried chicken bites, fries, watermelon, cheesecake, and other yummies.You check in at the kiosk and find your seat. Then you pick your plates as they go by or use the ordering screen to make a special order. Really fun and interactive. The screen shows ingredients and once you order it tells you the arrival time. Earn points as you deposit used plates in the chute and get a video clip and then a prize from the automated vending machine.For those with allergies be sure to check the menu and ask staff. They don’t have gluten free soy sauce but you can bring your own as we do.The staff is great with drink refills on soft drinks and water. An additional adult drink menu is available and includes saki and beers.Handicap accessible parking and building.We really enjoy coming here as it reminds us of the go-rounds in Japan and we love sushi. Definitely check them out - I’m sure you will like it.
Lots of fun with small dishes whizzing by, and special orders delivered to your table by conveyor belt. All controlled by touch screen interface. Great for kids and adults. Food is very good, fresh and tasty.
I would define myself as an avid Kura'er... my lifetime plates is approaching 1000 and i simply love the variety, the speed in which people get food and the quality of the foods. this occasion i wanted to highlight the cleanliness.
Really enjoyed Kura! The sushi is average quality, but it's a good price at 3 dollars per plate for almost all selections. You are also allowed to order individual plates instead of waiting for the rotation. There is a nice key chain that they give you after spending a certain amount of money (not worth it to hunt for, but a nice little bonus if you happen to reach it). There is a lot of variety like your typical fish including tuna, salmon, yellow fin, etc, but also includes squid, scallop, torro, seared beef, octopus, sweet shrimp, and more!If you are looking for something casual that is fair price and has a lot of variety, I think Kura is the place to go!My only criticism was that they were really conservative on the pickled ginger and Wasabi, which I believe is an important part of the experience.
Just a fun place to eat. Messy around food transfer rollers. Every time I pick up food, I see it and it makes me feel uncomfortable. Food quality is not fresh either. Apply a lot of oil to the fish so that it makes me to feel gross later. Well. I am satisfied with going to have fun with my kid. Employees can't help when we need it. I think they should hire more staff.
The best option if you want to get in eat and get out quickly. The food has good quality. Some time it takes longer to get seated.
