I don’t like writing negative reviews, but since I spent $25 on a takeout order, I feel I have to. I picked up food around 2 am and the food was extremely disappointing. Karachi put the anda right on top of the paratha and the anda had no spice or flavor. The aloo paratha was extremely thin (very little aloo inside ) and had no spice and flavor either. Both patathas looked like they were made earlier in the day and just reheated for our order. The malai for the malpura smelled weird. We didn’t enjoy any of the items and discarded them.Prior to this, my family last visited Karachi Restaurant 4 years ago and that visit was disappointing so we stopped going. I gave them another chance today and this was super disappointing again.
Some of the best desi food I’ve had in a long time. Home made taste that isn’t usually found in restaurants.I’m also going to speak about Khalid uncle, the owner and his wife. They were super welcoming, and overall great to know. They treated us like family, and were hospitable. The food was great, the dessert was scrumptious.I also had booked the Elite Banquet Hall for two events and the service, food, set up was great! ? recommend their restaurant.
Very vibrant and nicely decorated, alot of seating,if you can find a place to sit due to being packed out, very busy, long waiting lines to order and to pickup.Their beef gyro and beef philly cheese steak burger, very big let down, meat was dry and hardly any cheese or sauce, fries were cold and saltless no ketchup provided.Other then that majority of the curries and chai tried is goodZabiha halalRamadhan open till all night till 5am
I was looking around for Haleem while I came across them. I took a leap of faith after the suggestion from some young guy there, but I'm glad I did! One of the tastiest haleem I tasted in Houston. Tried their Kheer as well, which was really legit. Can't wait to stop by again to try something more
Fabulous, clean and tasty food. Portion size is generous as well. We recently got catering done as well from them. Half tray of biryani, beef kadhai, veg kadhai plus naan and easily served about 12 people and some was left over. There kheer in desserts is real good as well.
It was a true pleasure to with Karachi Restaurant for my wedding day. They not only have delicious food but they have an exceptional level of detail to make the experience memorable not only for you but your guests. Their custom designed spreads will be to how your event theme will be plus with great tasty options. I especially loved the burger sliders and mango lassi shots. The bhel puri station was also very fun for all of the guests. Their chefing dishes are also great quality and you can have dishes that may include a tava for everyone to enjoy as they pick their food. The kabobs, rice and biryani is also great quality. I personally love their Gulab jamun and would highly recommend it for your guests. Really enjoyed working with Khaled and his wife and look forward to working with them in the future.
Much better than my expectation, the food was good not too spicy and not too oily. The icing on the cake was the cholay which reminded me of the lal matka vendor on Gurumandir in Karachi from the 70’s. It just melted in the mouth. No place in Houston offers this kind of cholay. This was my first visit to the place, it sure is worth coming back to. The service was good and the entire place was clean including the restroom. It.
I had the rose ice cream and it was so delicious! Not too sweet and perfect! I would recommend to all my friends and family!
Alhamdullilah food was very yummy good service and specially price are very reasonable
Excellent environment and decor. Horrible Kashmiri chai. They have no idea what they are serving. This item should be removed from menu until proper replacement preparation is learned. Since there are so many good reviews about food I will come and test the food some other time. Hopefully next time my review is more in par with others.
