A HAIR was in my wife’s food, which is completely unacceptable. What A Nightmare. Zero Stars. I spoke to the manager and mentioned that our entire experience had been bad and now we had found this disgusting hair. They send the “waffles” from my wife’s CHICKEN & WAFFLES out about 7-8 minutes before the chicken, so her waffle was almost gone by the time the chicken showed up. The chicken fried chicken that says on the menu would come smothered in gravy came as a nasty looking piece of meat and I had to ask for the gravy to put it on myself. The wait was extremely long. Freezing, uncomfortably cold inside. Don’t come here unless you want to wait a long time and then get a hair in your mouth. The manager still made us pay full price for the meal. She didn’t card and refused to do good business and let it be free or at least give a DISCOUNT. She just argued with me about which plate the hair was in and pretended she couldn’t see the hair on the napkin when I held it up to her. Never coming back.
It’s been a long time since I went to an IHOP. We kept being disappointed with their food. But todays visit was great. Granted we didn’t ask for anything fancy, just plain scrabbled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. The food was good, but the service was even better. Ikena was Very polite, and attentive. There are IHOPs closer to home, but their reviews weren’t great. After coming to this one (sugarland), I can understand why this one has the best ratings. Thank you.
Everything was flavorless and tasted frozen, the syrup dispenser was disgusting, the coffee tasted like water. The eggs looked and tasted like a health code violation lol. also got an upcharge on my bill because I asked for a substitution that I never even received with my food. Waitress was nice though and attentive, food was just disgusting and a waste of time and money.
We were skeptical going on a Sunday, then found the line out the door when we arrived, but our wait was short! Our service was very prompt and friendly! Our meals were cooked to perfection. The chicken fajita omelet was very large and tasty. The servers worked together as a team to keep tables cleared and their prep area clean. All in all, a very enjoyable experience and delicious meal!
It’s IHOP. Not my personal favorite place and I usually would give a maximum of 4 stars for it. I’m giving 5 stars because the server who was working alone did a great job for the position she was in. I appreciate people like her who could get frustrated (with good reason) but she remained friendly and courteous the whole time. The food came out in a timely manner and our order was correct. The restroom was clean which is a big telltale for me of the cleanliness of a restaurant. I dined with my three teenage kids and we were happy.
Our waitress was pleasant. The food was really good. The wait time was longer than expected but, it was understood when we realized that there were short of staff. Tough times these days. Don't lose your customer service skills.
Our server Samar treats us so well every time we come and gives us excellent service. She’s very patient and very quick to get us our order.
Good food! But the manager in charge was VERY unprofessional and disrespectful with her co-workers she should not be a manager or night supervisor at all!! (Visit on 1-26-22 at 12:30pm)
Very pleasant visit. Server kept coffee cup full and attended to our needs without being overbearing. Eggs were perfectly cooked to our varied requests. It was very enjoyable.
Horrible service, waited one hour for food, and never got the food. Walked out of the place. Both server and manger were very rude and didn’t apologize. We ordered drinks and one person got it and the other did not. We had to pay for the one we got. I would never recommend coming here.
