My wife and I have come here a couple of times already and we love the mom and pop, chill vibe of the place. The couple that works and hosts there are so pleasant and sweet and the food is awesome! I love their Hokkaido Roll and Ichiban Roll!!! I think my new fave spot for rolls!
Crab rangoons were hot and fresh and deliciousand their sushi was amazing.
This was our first visit here at Ichiban my mom and I originally came for the poke bowls but when we saw the the menu the poke bowl went out the window lol. We were greeted upon arrival, our server was super nice and constantly checked on us, the food was fresh and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Incredibly disappointing experience. Service was appalling and the quality of food was mediocre at best. I guess our server was having a bad day or something, but she had an air of annoyance the entire time we were being served and answered most of my questions with hostility (I wasn't exactly drilling her with questions either, I had just asked her the portion size of what I was ordering). Really bad attitude, despite me being polite. I was also upcharged for my dish and the extra charge was only taken off after I brought it to her attention and asked to see the menu to verify the price, even though she had still insisted the price was right. The food was also quite disappointing. I ordered the ikura and the eggs were super tiny and lacked flavor. Definitely lacking quality in terms of the sushi. Our appetizers were not bad. All in all I would definitely never recommend this place, total vibe killer. There are tons of great places to eat in Sugar Land, give them a chance instead.
Foods are fresh and delicious. I often took my mom for lunch at here years ago. Even they have changed the ownership, but everything is outstanding from foods to the service. Highly recommended.
