Normally I go for the Loaded Chicken Fries but a recent trip I "ventured" out and ordered the Mac N Chick. I have a new favorite menu item now, the mac and cheese is bomb. I like the spice of the Howlin' but would only recommend for seasoned spice eaters, it'll definitely clear your sinuses.

Usually this place is amazing! The last few times the sandwiches have been dry. To make sure this doesn’t happen again, I asked for extra toppings on my recent visit. I was quoted an extra $6 a sandwich. I took off the extras and asked for them to make sure the appropriate amount of toppings are put on our sandwiches. I got home and both sandwiches were dry and had no sauce. Not edible. The store is not answering their phone, so at this time I am unable to get a refund/replacement order. I do feel like this was done intentionally.

Hidden gem in Sugar Land, TX. The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. The menu is very descriptive and offers a variety of flavors, dishes, and sides. Every visit I purchase the “Loaded fries” and the plate is quite large in quantity so it could feed up to two. The sides and drinks are sold separately so make sure you add a fountain drink to your order and a side if you’d like. I definitely recommend trying the Mac and cheese it’s delicious and very cheesy. The food is very affordable and delicious. Definitely a place worth trying if around the Sugar Land area.

I've been going here a couple times, but this time they forgot to give me the sauce, quite disappointing. Also, I noticed the styrofoam box melted. That's not appetizing. You should at least put a piece of foil or paper under the hot food.

I’ve been going to Howdy’s for a while now and have always enjoyed their food. This review is directed towards portions, my order today appears to be half of what it typically is. Instead of the typical 2 strips, they now sell 1 strip cut in half and call it two strips. Cole slaw is half full, this is a joke! Vic lighter for size reference… omg is is larger than the chicken “strip” how embarrassing. This is a child’s meal.

I’m not going to rate it too low bc my experience was my own fault. I tend to have a high tolerance for spicy stuff, but MAN!!! This chicken is hot! I got the second hottest flavor and it was so hot I couldn’t even enjoy my meal. It is a nice place though, service was alright. I went around lunch time and it was pretty empty. But whatever you THINK you can handle, get the level before that bc this heat is no joke.

Went to this place after seeing it had good reviews. I spontaneously picked the Have Mercy spice level (the hottest) because I was bored - it burned my face off. I could no longer taste the sandwich, and had to peel half the spicy batter off to finish. It burned my digestive tract causing severe discomfort for the next 12 hours. The fries were great. Know what you're getting into, this is greasy heavy fare.

Food is good but this review doesn't pertain to the food. It pertains to the service we received. We come in and stand at the register to order and after a couple of minutes, the lady at the register just asked in a rude tone "are y'all ready?", and we said yes. I asked for the chicken thigh sandwich and again in her ride tone she said "we're out". No sorry, or saying it in a nicer way. Then as I preceded to choose another item on the menu, she let out a big sigh because I didn't know what I wanted in 2 seconds. Not just that, but she was using her phone, eating, scratching her nose, using the register and placing customers to go orders in their box all with the same hands, no gloves.

Walked in at 9:48pm, “Judith” older lady at the register explained it was 10 mins before close and too late to place my order, luckily the female cook came around and said we can make your order no problem. It was a to go order, Judith gave us no dipping sauce or utensils which we usually get without asking. We will consider now just going to the other local chicken spots - very much turned off by this service, plus the fries never seemed cooked.

First time = Last time. Chicken was chewy and crunchy like a cucumber. Looks dry might be fried from another day.
