I enjoyed Everything but the Corn. It wasn't Done & very hard. Red Beans Fish & hush puppies were delicious

This place always hits the spot on Fridays. They are one of the few places that has an amazing seafood platter, gumbo and fried seafood. My favorites are the grilled fish. I can go a week without their grilled seasoned fish. They also have a blackened fish which is cooked to perfection. They also have crawfish etouffee, shrimp etouffee, shrimp creole, shrimp jambalaya, shrimp Alfredo pasta, chicken Alfredo pasta, and Cajun pasta. Their customer service is always friendly. They always greet you with a smile and will help you order if it’s your first time. They also have some great sides such as mixed mixed vegetables, jambalaya rice, green beans, french fries, hush puppies, onion rings, coleslaw, green salad, Caesar salad, and a baked potato. They also have some great combos where you can mix and match catfish and redfish and chicken tenders. They also have popcorn shrimp, Cajun crawfish tails, and jumbo shrimp. If you come to this place you wanna be disappointed. Also highly recommended coleslaw. The place is always kept clean and fresh. They always keep The place smelling fresh. You do not smell any type of fishy smell. That means they are using fresh seafood all the time. If you haven’t been at this place then I highly recommend it.
Food was reasonably priced, prepared fresh and hot. However, I did not enjoy any of thebitems that I purchased. I had medium fish and shrimp plate with hush pups, jambalaya rice and red beans, I also order boudin balls. Not sure what kind of fish was used but it was oddly oily and flavorless, shrimp were not deveined, over fried and again flavorless, boudin balls were generously sized but no flavor whatsoever. Jambalaya rice was hard and again no taste red beans were black in color, was not bold enough to try. All items were nasty IMO. I will not return and could never recommend ?
I had the Cajun catfish with shrimp which included 2 sides. I had a choice of red beans and rice, salad, green beans, hush puppies, fries, gumbo or onion rings. I choose two orders of fries. The portions were large for the price and well seasoned.
I love the new renovations. The food is always good, hot and fresh. They don’t keep you waiting and the person at the counter is professional.
Very nice staff, food was excellent for the price. Definitely worth another try.
Very tasty. Wife and I both got the cod and shrimp. Only issues was that we at it all :D. Nice find and will be coming back
The owner thought I stole a fountain drink.I purchased $30 worth of food which included two bottled drinks that were lukewarm. After our food arrived, I asked for a cup of ice which he gave me. Later he comes over to our table to check and tells me “oh you got a drink its $2”. I point to the bottled drinks he sold me 15 mins earlier which he realizes and says “Ok”. Never did he apologized. I guess this is just what Black customers have to deal with when they enter his establishment. Will I return? Never. The food was subpar. I drove 30 mins to Sugarland to try this place after my favorite mukbanger recommended it. My partner didn’t even want to eat in the place because he thought it looked rundown. But I convinced him and then this. SMH.Owner please note that my people are not all thieves. You had two college educated professional Black men with terminal degrees and careers in finance visit your establishment. You were less than gracious. I will go where both my money and myself are respected next time. I encourage others especially POC to do the same.
