My favorite Mexican Restaurant! I love the food, the service, and the ambiance. You are greeted with a smile when you walk through the door and you receive friendly wave with a Thank You on the way out. The food is delicious and the drinks are yummy! My family LOVES this place!
Good food, good service! The staff was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere, nice tables and chairs.... and the Astros on several TV's! Would definitely dine here again.

The place is clean and well lighted. The people are friendly and in good spirits. The menu selection is both TexMex and traditional Mexican food. They will also alter the dish to better suit the customer. The food is good. I personally like the fajitas "a la Mexicana. We will come back.

We LOVE El Vaquero!The food is fresh and plentiful, and the service is fast and friendly. We go on an average of twice a week, and have never been disappointed. Everything we have ordered has been delicious!I'm super picky about restaurants been clean. No issues here. The tables are bussed quickly.
Run to this place! A lot of Tex Mex restaurants are either an expensive chain or a hole in the wall. This is neither. It's nicely decorated and inviting, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is varied and delicious. Get the fajitas poblanas: imagine chicken fajitas covered in a chipotle sauce and topped with cheese. The chicken comes out juicy and flavorful. We added 6 shrimp for 9.99. The tortillas (corn and flour) are home made! How often do you see fresh corn tortillas?! Ever was an awesome server. Their refried beans and enchiladas don't have pork lard like in other places. If you want to try something different, ask for their spicy salsa. It's a bit thicker than the standard one they serve. Only thing I would change is that they serve American cheese as a topping for the fajitas (puzzling).
Wow this great local Mexican food. I love the chips and salsa and I ordered the fish tacos with rice and refried beans. The staff there was very nice and they did a great job.
