I don't think I'll be back to this place, over priced for the portions in my opinion, $15 for a gyro and small fry. I could see paying this much had the gyro been a bit bigger. Very disappointed , the gyro was tasty though,just small portions..
It's been at least 10 years since our last visit. We enjoyed it before when we lived in this area and now after moving back . We share everything with me getting the lion's share. My wife enjoyed 2 kebeh balls, deep fried football shaped bulgur and meat shells filled with beef and/or lamb....very tasty. I got the Dumar's Mezza Sampler, two falafel, two kebeh, two grape leaves, hummus, tabouli and baba ganoush, and pita bread.
The restaurant is always slow and quiet. Not too many regular diners but many take out orders. The owner and his son are both nice and patient. My family and I order shawarmas and falafel sandwiches from here. The food is good for something local. Sadly, it’s always cold. Their fries are perfectly seasoned and fried. Personally I’ve never tried anything else other than wraps, but next time I’ll give it a try.
I love u all I have been coming to your restaurant for over 6 years now. I came today 6/6/2022 & my gyro & falafel were extremely small. I will come again hopefully it will bebetter
Usually enjoy eating here, although the portions are rather small for the price (they are tasty). Today, I ordered Turkish Coffee; however, it never came to the table. Was disappointing so I just left without saying anything. Wouldn’t want to disrupt the employee’s conversation they were having setting at the table behind me. Live and let learn. Last time I ever eat here.

I've been going here for a long time; regrettably not as often as I would like. But I can tell you..........I've had gyros (and all the other great food served here) at different places around the Houston metropolitan area and I just had the gyro wrap tonight. It made me remember why this place is the best. If you haven't been here....GO! And don't forget to grab some baklava for later ;). Thank you Bashar for a great local restaurant!
Dumar's is the best mediterranean spot in the Houston area by far. You can tell that the food is fresh, cooked in small batches and made by an experienced staff.I love coming here and seeing how excellent food and quality of service still exists within the food industry.Thank you @Dumar's for a true treasure in the heart of Sugar Land.
